We traveled to New Orleans for our wedding and honeymoon and stayed at the Maison de Macarty for a week. The B&B is really cute with antebellum style living room and fantastic backyard. The private backyard includes a sun deck, tiki bar and pool. When we were there it was only 60 degrees so not quite pool weather, but I... More

My sister got married at Maison de Macarty March 29th and the entire wedding party stayed at the facility over the weekend. The team there went above and beyond the call, finding us things to help us decorate, accommodating food allergies that we didn't inform them of prior to arriving. They also helped us clean up the next day and... More

This little B&B was the best find! It’s always hard to know what you are going to get when you make travel plans on line, but after calling Maison de McCarthy and speaking to Kurt, I had a really good feeling about the place. We booked during Mardi Gras weekend, and every hotel within miles of the French Quarter wanted... More

My partner and I travelled to NOLA for Mardi Gras, we only stayed here for four days, but wished we'd have stayed for longer. Masion de Macarty is slightly further away from the hustle and bustle of Bourbon Street but don't let this deter you otherwise you will miss out on this beautiful hidden gem of the Bywater area. We... More

Our son had his wedding here and he and his fiancé rented the whole house for a few days. It was a perfect wedding location, the house is beautifully renovated with carefully selected fixtures and fittings in New Orleans style. Bedrooms are comfortable and spacious. We had the wedding in the outside courtyard, a lush and lovely setting by the... More

This B&B was an excellent place to stay while in New Orleans before a cruise. Our room was very nice. The bed was very comfortable. Our breakfasts were outstanding. One morning we had shrimp & grits (which we were not real sure about until we tasted it and it was awesome) and another we had waffles & fruit. We had... More

Stayed here for Valentine's Day weekend with my wife. What a great property in a very "locals" neighborhood. Good restaurants and attractions nearby; and the owners are very hospitable. Will definitely go back.

I finally have a moment to write a review since my stay at the Macarty house in June 2013. The pool room was clean, comfy and a wonderful size for a couple in love, the 24/h outdoor pool was the best relief from the sweltering heat. The food was beyond our expectations in terms of quantity, quality, taste and creativity.... More

My husband and I are so glad we chose this B&B for our "babymoon". The owner, Kurt, was one of the friendliest people we have ever met, and the accommodations were like home (only better!). Curtis made some of the best breakfasts I have ever eaten (smoked salmon, quiche, and omelets just to name a few things). Breakfasts were the... More

This January we celebrated a 40th birthday, adult only getaway with about 15 of our friends most of whom stayed here (we were given a group discount). Upon arrival, on day one Kurt, Warren & Chef Curtis were like instant family. To start the rooms were clean, charming, had comfy beds & and a highly entertaining guide book. We stayed... More
