This B&B was great. The house and rooms were beautiful. The staff made us feel welcomed and relaxed immediately. We stayed in the Garden cottage with our two dogs. The room was immaculate and the bed very comfortable. We loved waking up and having breakfast in the garden patio. If you are looking for a relaxing spot with easy access... More

This B&B surpassed our expectations! Kurt was so welcoming and Curtis made THE most delicious breakfast every morning. My boyfriend and I stayed in the Storyville room, which was awesome! The bed was incredibly comfortable and the jetted tub was the icing on the cake! We came to experience Mardi gras for the first time, which was another fun experience... More

My wife & I went to NOLA to celebrate Valentine's Day, our 2 yr anniversary, and Mardi Gras all in one weekend. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Kurt, Dr. Warren, and chef Curtis were outstanding. The house is absolutely beautiful from inside out! We stayed in the master suite and it was breath-taking. We enjoyed... More

My second stay at Maison Macarty last week (early February) was even more enjoyable than my first (in June of 2013). That's saying a lot since that first stay was quite splendid. I wouldn't have thought it possible but Chef Curtis's breakfasts were even more satisfying and creative this visit. And as always, owners Kurt and Warren, are welcoming hosts.... More

We spent a long weekend in the By Water with friends from Finland. What a great experience we all had at staying with Kurt and Dr. Warren. We had the master suite and they had a cottage room out back. Both rooms had incredible NOLA character. Spacious. Chef Curtis prepared incredible breakfasts. The 4 of us spent a few hours... More

Thank you so much, Kurt, Dr. Warren, and Chef Curtis, for making our long weekend at Maison de Macarty so memorable. From the quiet and comfortable night's sleep to the delicious breakfasts to your warm and welcoming hospitality, our stay was among the best B&B experiences we have had. The Master Suite was lovely, and your willingness to accommodate our... More

My husband and I stayed here for the weekend beginning on Halloween and stayed for a wedding on November 1st. We absolutely loved it here! We were in room #4, in the back and upstairs. It felt very private and secluded even though we were very much part of the household. We were there with the entire wedding party for... More

Thank you for the review! I'm glad you enjoyed Room #4, it's one of my favorites! It almost feels like a tree-house the way it's above and looks out over the entire courtyard. Weddings are special here and we are always grateful to get to be a part of them. Thanks again! More

My husband and I stayed at Maison De Macarty for 5 nights in November. It is a beautiful B&B, and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. We stayed in the pool cottage and it was a wonderful experience - no complaints at all. We thoroughly enjoyed talking with Kurt, Dr. Warren, Chef Curtis and the other guests during breakfast. Big... My husband and I stayed 4 nites at the Maison de Macarty during Thanksgiving week. Our reason for staying there probably won't be shared by anyone else, but the house was owned by my husband's family from the 1890's until they sold it in the 1970's. Since then, it has operated as a B and B with different owners. Our... More

What a treat! Thanks for spending a little time with us retracing family history. The old picture of the house is fantastic and is going in a frame up front. Thanks again! More
