We were here for as convention and decided to skip the big hotel in favor of a B & B. It was a great decision. It is a beautiful old house on the quiet end of Bourbon Street. It is obvious that the owners pay attention to detail -- whether it be the soft towels or the delicious breakfast. The... More

This is a wonderful B&B right on Bourbon Street but several blocks from the crazy, noisy part. Very clean, quiet, and John makes great breakfasts. John is very helpful and offers great maps and information about the area. Best way to stay in New Orleans. Would definitely go back here!

A combination personal and business first-time trip to New Orleans was comfortable and enjoyable thanks to a great location in relation to the sights and John's friendly hospitality, visitor tips and tasty breakfasts. What a pleasant experience in relation to the typical convention hotels!

Everything about this B&B is perfect. The location is just at the edge of the French Quarter so it is an easy walk to great restaurants, bars, shopping and museums. Yet it is still in a residential area so it is quiet at night for sleeping. John is a wonderful welcoming host and very friendly. He makes wonderful breakfasts and... More

This was our first stay in a B&B, and I have to say that I am totally sold on the idea instead of a hotel. This is a beautiful old home with high ceilings, wood flooring, crown molding, etc. The kitchen is stocked and inviting with it's over-sized granite breakfast bar where John serves his guests with his delightful N'awlins... Our 3-night stay in New Orleans was pretty darn perfect, thanks in large part to this little B&B. Don't worry about the noise from Bourbon street -- that is totally not an issue. And if you want to start the day with a hearty breakfast and friendly, informative chat with the innkeeper while he cooks and serves it up, you... More

I had a conference in New Orleans this September, and don't really enjoy staying at convention hotels. Instead, I decided to book a room at La Maison Marigny, on the opposite side of the French Quarter from the convention center. As a tourist, the location was perfect - my husband (who tagged along with me) and I were close to... More

My husband and I feel very fortunate to have found this gem of a B&B at the intersection of the French Quarter and La Maison Marigny. The B&B was as beautiful inside as out, tastefully furnished with beautiful rich linens, luxurious richly hewed bedspreads and drapes lending the interior a very comfortable yet distinctly New Orleans elegant feel. John was... More

So happy we decided to stay at this bed and breakfast. This comfortably restored historic home set the mood for our getaway. You can't visit New Orleans without experiencing delicious food, and the breakfasts, home-made by our host John, started each day off just right. He was also great about giving us insider information about great restaurants and things to... More

This is a wonderful place to stay for your time in New Orleans. The B&B is clean and well decorated but not too big that you get lost in the house. The courtyard is very relaxing and enjoyable to hang out in. John, the owner, is wonderful to say the least. He is very knowledgeable of the city and is... More
