I can't find anything bad to say about La Maison Marigny. Not only is it a convenient B&B, John is wonderful and makes the best muffins. Every morning, you will be greeted with delicious homemade muffins. I would come back to La Maison Marigny again and again. more

Having never been to New Orleans, and having had great luck using TA to find hotels for other locations, I used it again for this trip. I was not disappointed. I'm not sure there is much I can add that hasn't been mentioned in the previous reviews: - John was a great host. He knows the area and can provide... more

We stayed here for four nights. We were met by John who was very friendly and helpful with tips for our holiday. This bed and breakfast is situated on Bourbon Street but at the far end, away from the action. It is very quiet and about a 10-15 minute walk to the jazz clubs on Bourbon Street and about a... more

John is an amazing host. He upgraded our room a few days before we arrived and we had a balcony for the (somewhat) cooler nights. The room was perfect, the breakfast always tasty, the advice and small talk refreshing, and the overall experience relaxing and enjoyable. We hope to return in a cooler month! By the way, the back yard,... more

It was our first time to visit New Orleans and I'm SO glad we chose La Maison Marigny for our stay! As soon as we got there and got unloaded we were given a map of the area as well as a run down of cool places to go to ...even a laughable look at what to do and not... more

Located a half block outside the French Quarter across the tree covered Esplanade in upscale residential Marigny it couldn't be closer walking distance yet further away from the heartbeat and soul of charming New Orleans. With a professional career in hotel management the savvy proprietors hit the top of every metric for their B&B. Spotless cleanliness throughout, punctual continental breakfast... more

We loved our stay at La Maison Marigny, even though we never could pronounce it! It is a lovely, welcoming house, close to everything in the French Quarter and Frenchmen's Street. We hope to return, we couldn't fit everything into the 5 days we stayed. John gave us wonderful suggestions for dining and touring, he was only a phone call... more

This B&B was in the perfect location - in a quiet residential area, but is a short <10 min. walk (safe even at night) to French Quarter & even shorter walk to Frenchman Street. The owner, John, was there to greet us when we arrived, and gave us maps w/ his recommendations on places to eat, bars to go to,... more

I have traveled to New Orleans nearly 20 times and stayed at various hotels but my recent stay with La Maison Marigny was the best. John made excelent sugestions ranging from where to get the best bread pudding to where to hear the best Zydeco. The home made muffins each morning where made with love and local coffee was available... more

There are so many wonderful things to say about La Maison Marigny. Jon is the nicest, friendliest, and most accommodating person I've ever come across. He greets you when you arrive, provides you with maps for finding restaurants and attractions, and helps you make reservations for tours. The baked goods that he makes in the mornings are truly tasty and... more
