The hotel is clean and modern. The Pool is the best part and a quiet oasis within the center of the French Quarter. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. Unfortunately there is not a lot of insulation around the doors and you are able to hear everything within the hotel. The beds feel like a roll out at a vacation... More

I was in NOLA for a work event at the convention center and wanted to stay in the Warehouse district but was unable to find a reasonably priced hotel. I opted for Hotel St. Helene and was happy with the choice. It's located on the south side of the French Quarter so it is quieter. The room was nothing terribly... More

Small bouquet hotel in french quarter. Very, Very nice staff. Nice continental breakfast. Wood and marble floors. No carpet, iron, hair dryer and safe in room. Coffee down stairs 24/hr per day. Water and pralines in room, as welcome gift. This is a Historical site. No bathroom in lobby. No elevator, 3 flights of stairs. Parking down the street at... More

My husband and I have been planning our anniversary trip to the Crescent City for a year. We chose the Ste. Helene after searching for our ideal hotel. We couldn't be happier with our choice! We got the ground floor courtyard room and we're blown away! Thanks Ste. Helene!

You would almost walk by (as we did), this is a good thing since it is definitely not a cookie cutter hotel. The location is a plus as it is convenient for access to Rue Royal and plenty of restaurants. First impressions are fine, the lobby has seating, you can make out the pool at the end of the hallway,... More

If you're looking for some of the old New Orleans style, here it is! The rooms are small but it was clean, cold ac and plenty of hot water! We stayed in town most of the day as most people do when in NOLA so who needs a big fancy hotel? Loved the nostalgia of the place. We enjoyed our... More

N O T ever staying there again. The room was not very clean, the mattress old and worn out, the pool dirty, and the breakfast not so good. Is too bad it's not maintained as is a great location and interesting old building.

Not a big fancy hotel so if that's what you are looking for this place is not for you. Our room was small but had plenty of room for two people to relax. The customer service there was exceptional and staff was very helpful. Would stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here last night for a little get away even though I'm from New Orleans and we live here. Great place! We will definitely be back. Cozy rooms with sitting areas, comfortable bed and large flat screen tv. Not to mention a beautiful fountain swimming pool. I would recommend staying in room 204 or205- they are... More

Great place. Cozy clean rooms with perfect New Orleans charm. I would know, I'm from New Orleans and live here now :). We wanted a little get away for a night and this was the perfect place. Large flat screen yes, free wifi, and a beautiful fountain swimming pool. Check out prices on orbitz though. We over paid almost double... More
