I enjoyed staying here. Considering we went during 95 degree weather and the humidity was insane! the Beautiful pool area was on point, rustic, clean and open 24 hours. Breakfast was more continental and it was perfect to start the day, a coffee and croissant to hold you off until you dive right into the AMAZING FOOD OF New Orleans.... More

The hotel was clean and the Staff was very nice and helpful. Looks better in the pictures then in person, rooms are very, very small. The breakfast offered was minimum like they put out one muffin per person checked into hotel plus the place where the light breakfast was served was full of fruit flies. The fruit flies was in... DT Bishop, Thank you for your candid feedback. We do our best to provide a light continental breakfast and a wealth of suggestions for a traditional New Orleans breakfast within the area. It is unfortunate that fruit flies decided to join us for breakfast in the courtyard and I regret that this aspect of your stay was less than desirable.... More

The hotel is clean and modern. The Pool is the best part and a quiet oasis within the center of the French Quarter. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. Unfortunately there is not a lot of insulation around the doors and you are able to hear everything within the hotel. The beds feel like a roll out at a vacation... More

I was in NOLA for a work event at the convention center and wanted to stay in the Warehouse district but was unable to find a reasonably priced hotel. I opted for Hotel St. Helene and was happy with the choice. It's located on the south side of the French Quarter so it is quieter. The room was nothing terribly... More

Small bouquet hotel in french quarter. Very, Very nice staff. Nice continental breakfast. Wood and marble floors. No carpet, iron, hair dryer and safe in room. Coffee down stairs 24/hr per day. Water and pralines in room, as welcome gift. This is a Historical site. No bathroom in lobby. No elevator, 3 flights of stairs. Parking down the street at... More

My husband and I have been planning our anniversary trip to the Crescent City for a year. We chose the Ste. Helene after searching for our ideal hotel. We couldn't be happier with our choice! We got the ground floor courtyard room and we're blown away! Thanks Ste. Helene!

You would almost walk by (as we did), this is a good thing since it is definitely not a cookie cutter hotel. The location is a plus as it is convenient for access to Rue Royal and plenty of restaurants. First impressions are fine, the lobby has seating, you can make out the pool at the end of the hallway,... More

N O T ever staying there again. The room was not very clean, the mattress old and worn out, the pool dirty, and the breakfast not so good. Is too bad it's not maintained as is a great location and interesting old building.
