Once a year I stay in the French Quarter the last day of the French Quarter Fest. Always wanted to stay at the Hotel St. Helene. The room was super clean, staff excellent and friendly. Great experience. Highly recommend.

I liked this hotel! First, The premium parking across the street made it easy to park. Also it's right in the French quarter so you're right in the festivities! The hotel it's self is kind of pricy but it's beautiful and has comfy beds. Also it's very clean! I'd recommend it for sure.

We tried this Hotel because we wanted to spend a couple of nights after a cruise. We wanted to be in the quarter since we had flown. The staff was super helpful. The rooms were very clean and spacious. There are no many places you can get this large a room for this price. The pool was a lovely retreat.... More

The only thing to recommend this hotel is its location in the heart of the French Quarter. Our room was a windowless cell. We noted a hairpin on the floor at check-in, suggesting the room had been haphazardly cleaned. We left it undisturbed and it was still there on check-out. Cleaning was apparently not haphazard but non-existent. A cockroach in... More

Close to Bourbon St. and all the festivities. Fresh coffee served all day! Can't wait to come back. The rooms have all been recently restored and are gorgeous. The continental breakfast was good but you have to go to Cafe de Monde for beignets of course!

Me and my boyfriend had a plane change in New Orleans, I had never been, so, I booked this hotel at last minute for just one night so I could get a small tour of the city and fly out to Nashville the next afternoon.. I was very pleased with this hotel, I wanted something modern, sleek, and clean... I... More

Location is brilliant close to all the main attractions. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially val. We had a room on the ground floor which was extremely noisy being right by the stairs and the 'breakfast' bar. Breakfast was ridiculous maybe a banana or apple and some dry cereal in boxes.

This is a small hotel with a great location in the French Quarter. There are two parking garages across the street. The Omni garage has 24 hour attendants. Our room was very clean and freshly painted. The linens were very nice, the towels were thick. The entire staff couldn't have been more helpful. They were always friendly and professional. Coffee,... I recently spent one night in the Hotel St Helene on Chartres Str!. It is a very small boutique hotel with only 16 rooms!! I loved it! The hotel staff could not have been nicer and more professional. They were happy and ready to help with anything and made you feel as though you were the only person at the... More

The only good thing about this hotel was the location. Easy access to all of the French Quarter and many of the major New Orleans attractions. The negatives: The room was dirty and paint was peeling off of the walls. The bed sheets were stained one of the days, and the front desk person was unable to find replacements. There... More
