My husband and I stayed here last night for a little get away even though I'm from New Orleans and we live here. Great place! We will definitely be back. Cozy rooms with sitting areas, comfortable bed and large flat screen tv. Not to mention a beautiful fountain swimming pool. I would recommend staying in room 204 or205- they are... More

Great place. Cozy clean rooms with perfect New Orleans charm. I would know, I'm from New Orleans and live here now :). We wanted a little get away for a night and this was the perfect place. Large flat screen yes, free wifi, and a beautiful fountain swimming pool. Check out prices on orbitz though. We over paid almost double... More

This quaint little hotel is in an excellent location in the French Quarter. it was easy to walk anywhere in the quarter from here. It is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. Our room was upstairs in the back overlooking the pool so it was quiet. But, the bedding was in sad shape, including the bed. It is time... More

I've stayed here many times and have always found the room to be spotless and the personnel to be courteous and helpful. If you're seeking ornate furnishings and elaborate décor, this is not the place; but if you enjoy clean lines, comfortable surroundings and no pretense then you'll be very pleased. Arrival and departure are easier than anywhere I've stayed.... More

where do I begin. We had a balcony room which facilitated many sleepless nights. The noise from the street was annoying but my favorite was the intolerable trash pick up several times a night across the street at the omni hotel. It will wake you up. Then there are the amenities there are none. No internet, no bell person, no... More

The location is perfect. From this hotel you can wonder to Bourbon or Jackson Square in a very few walking minutes. It has very friendly atmosphere with minimal interference from staff. The front office staff were a delight to chat with and exchange experiences. The room we stayed in was perfectly adequate and clean. It even had a little sofa... More

It was a nice hotel, nice rooms, very nice staff. The location is great. In the French Quarter, but off Bourbon St. so you don't hear the outside noise. However you can hear pretty much any noise in the hotel. Especially the rooms next door. You could hear them so clearly I felt like I was part of the conversation.

The location is just off the main action which was great, but that the best thing the Hotel St Helene had to offer. While the room was attractive and surface clean, the noise factor was high since the walls and door were thin (the couple in the adjacent room was having a much better time than I was, that's for... The location of this little hotel is perfect for exploring the quarter. Great resturants and bars nearby. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They offer coffee and pastries in the morning, a nice lagniappe but nothing special. We had a room overlooking Chartres street. The room was clean. It was a good size with very high ceilings, queen sized... More

First of all, the location is absolutely wonderful. We had stayed here several years ago with friends. At that time the hotel REALLY needed refurbishing. And so looking at the recent photos I thought it really looked great. Maybe I expect a little more attention to detail, especially when paying $300 per night. Our room was a balcony room on... More
