Our stay at the Avenue Inn B&B was fantastic. The house and room were as advertised, "authentic"with modern comforts. Joe and Bebe the innkeepers were very accomodating, without being overbearing. The inn's location on St. Charles is a minutes drive from Magazine Street and walking distance from many from several bars/restuarants. We look forward to a return visit and will... more

Unfortunately, this was the worst B&B experience ever. The building is delapidated and dirty. I understand this is a very old house, however, there is no excuse for the filthy conditions. The carpet on the stairs was disgusting. I doubt the floors had been cleaned in years and the bathroom was one step above a porta potty. The balcony was... more

I had used this B&B before to have guests stay there when they came to town. For the most part, everything was OK- not great, but acceptable.
