Traded into here with my timeshare points, picked it because of the location. Located across from the top left corner of the French Quarter, right on Canal Street, the location couldn't have been better. Just a couple blocks from Bourbon & Royal, also Canal Street Streetcar stop a block away to get further down into the French Quarter. St. Charles... More

We have just returned from 13 nights in NO at this hotel - we truly feel comfortable and at home when we are there. The people are friendly and we love our room. The perfect place for us. Two blocks to Deanies Seafood and the French Quarter......if we could we would spend a month there - that's how much we... More

We booked for the Essence Festival at this location and decided to stay the entire week. We had a studio which tightly accommodated 4 adults. There was a king size bed, queen sleeper sofa, and partial kitchen. The kitchen included a two burner stove, mini refrigerator and microwave. The kitchen was stocked with the basics and sufficient. The room includes... More

I love this place - easy walking distance to just about everything - great people run it and close to the Roosevelt Hotel......just across canal street......we are staying there again this year - so I'm excited!!!!

We stayed for a week as a timeshare trade. Room 401 is a corner studio overlooking Canal Street. The only drawback was being near Tulane Medical Center because ambulance sirens were heard all night. The room itself was comfortable and well appointed. The folks at the desk were always helpful and friendly. Bed was a little soft for my liking... More

We stayed during MLK week January 2012. Absolutely loved the Pierre Lafitte. We are adults who love the Quarter, and this was perfect for us. NOT a fancy high end hotel with butler and pool, but what we loved were the people and location. George and Derrick were there lots of the time and were there for us, and their... More

We stayed here for just a quick 5 day trip. The staff is a bit on the laid-back side, however; we got into our room prior to the check-in time (always nice when that happens!) I would not recommend this place if you are on the picky side - but we embraced the funkiness and it did not ruin our... More

We loved this place....the Owner and front desk staff were very friendly. We stayed 7 nights but would have stayed longer if they had the space. We were on the 4th floor and it was lovely - this is an older building - and furnishings are not modern....but it was charming and cozy and we were so settled in....that we... More

We go to NOLA every year and this is the place we choose to stay. If you want a cookie cutter Red Roof Inn or Motel-6 kind of place then don't stay here. This is an older building with unique rooms and more classic-style furnishings. Not the boring, cookie-cutter shoebox rooms found in modern hotels. THAT is the point of... More

I stayed here as a timeshare and was greatly disappointed. While the location is great, how long can a place be "under renovation?" Also the sofa was so old that I dared not pull it out and use it as a sofabed. The bedroom was small and had no windows and no TV. The rug was also old. I would... More
