We are Bluegreen owners, and we were more than satisfied with Club la Pension. The location is beyond convenient for everything we wanted to do in New Orleans. The luxury of our one bedroom suite was more than expected. Club la Pension is a wonderful place to park, walk, and enjoy all there is to do, see, eat, and enjoy... More

The staff at Club La Pension could not have been more helpful and accommodating. They did whatever they could to make sure that we felt at home. We arrived very early and they had a room for us in short order. They wouldn't let me pay them for an umbrella they had lent me which was stolen from a store... More

So much I could report from our four day experience. This hotel is Exhibit A when it comes to a boutique hotel. Cool reception area with funky furniture and art. The staff is fun perhaps a bit too familiar but just barely on the side of appropriate. Rooms are all differently laid out with unique features in each (we had... More

We booked the room only 24 hours in advance. I believe there were only 2 rooms left. The valet parking was very convenient (there is a bit of a charge). The staff was very friendly. Our room wasnt ready when we first got here (2:40pm), but they took our bags, stored them and took them to our room when it... More

We picked the busiest weeks to visit New Orleans and left finding accommodation to the last minute. A mistake. But through various means we ended up staying at Club La Pension at the edge of the French Quarter, and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the accommodation. Our one-bed apartment came complete with galley kitchen, good size rooms, an... More

We very much enjoyed our 5 night stay. The people working here are superb - wonderful service and very friendly. Part of the seven buildings that make up this maze of hallways and steps were built in 1792. I am sure that explains why at times water would not be very hot or very cold. It was rather dark in... My wife and I traveled to New Orleans in late February. We arrived at Club La Pension very late because our flight landed at 10:30 PM that evening. We were greeted at Club La Pension with a warm smile and Southern hospitality. Check in was a breeze and we were pleasantly surprised with our room. Very nice. The rooms are... More

Loved everything about this hotel. We had several issues with booking during a very busy convention week. The staff there went out of their way to help accomodate our every need with a smile. The location is safe and central to everything fun in NOLA. The restaurant next to the hotel is amazing and the hotel/rooms are gorgeous. Very funky... More

We are BlueGreen Travel Club members who used our "points" for a recent stay at Club La Pension. We shared a one bedroom unit in the back of the building - at first we were disappointed to not have a view or balcony - but discovered the front units facing Decatur St. are noisy and less desirable. The location is... More

I really like this place but probably would not recommend it due to the street noise. We had a 4th floor one bedroom along Decatur, all night sirens, trucks, car alarms, honking, shouting and talking could be heard until the street sweeper started early in the morning. Perhaps heard is not the right term since it was LOUD, like the... More
