To find a hotel ONE block away from bourbon St for less than $150 is a steal! The room was clean and the blankets were fresh. A little cramped and not the best view but considering it's location and price, it's a bargain!

I stay at the Cotton Exchange everytime I go to New Orleans, which is about once a month. I have reservations for it later this week, in fact. It is NOT a nice hotel. It is an old building, with old room. The rooms are small. The staff is not overly friendly or helpful, but they have never been rude...

was forced to stay at this location due to all other hotels being booked with a huge convention in town. first when I arrived at the hotel the valet told me I had to pay him not the hotel in advance for the valet service which in itself was not a big deal. but to take my payment he swiped...

First off let me say that I learned a lesson from this hotel booking! We stay in NOLA occasionally, but we only live 1.5 hours away, so we usually make a day trip out of it! However since we were staying for the rock n roll NOLA marathon we booked at this hotel. The hotel was just opening after a...

We stayed at the Cotton Exchange New Orleans from 4/22-4/29/12 had few complaints the lobby was one of the few that didn't offer coffee, had to request towels first day which I attribute to them being able give us a room upon arrival at 10a, check in wasn't suppose to be until 3p! the bathroom was minuscule. On the plus...

This was the worst hotel experience EVER. We have stayed in mom & pop strip motels that were cleaner, quieter, and that had existent staff that gave a you-know-what. First, we did not get the room we booked. Second, the windows were filthy and there was something splattered on the bathroom door. The floors in the elevator were sticky and...

We stayed at the Cotton Exchange for French Quarter Fest.
I read all of the reviews, so I was a bit leary.
We were pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly, the elevator worked, the hotel lobby and our room were clean (no bugs). We had all we needed in our cozy room! 2 blocks from bourbon street! Would definately stay...

First off, the location is perfect. Just a short 3 minute stroll to Bourbon Street or 10-15 min walk to the WW2 Museum, Riverwalk and other sights. The front desk staff was friendly enough. The room on the other hand needed a complete renovation. Once we arrived in our room, we noticed the sink was leaking from the pipe below...

Was in Nola from 4-6-12 to 4-8-12 & another great stay with the Cotton Echange. My room was clean and cool, no air conditioner issues! It's a great location close to street cars & Bourbon Street. Being my 2nd time staying & having a good experience- I can't worry with all these other whiney reviews, I love cotton exchange.
My partner & I stayed at The Cotton Exchange Hotel from 15th Feb - 22nd Feb 2012. I am extremely displeased with the service we received from this establishment.
It shouldn't be allowed to take money from tourists & shouldn't be allowed to run due to the obvious lack of hygiene. The maid-service was praticually non-existent. I found a large dead...
