It's an older hotel but for the price it's a great value. Rooms are good sized and the bathrooms are remodeled. Staff is friendly. The bar and dining room get very busy. Great location and the concierge level offers a decent breakfast and happy hour.

Comfortable and cozy, this quiet hotel is close to everything. The French Quarter, The Dome and the river boats are all within easy walking distance. The Hotel restaurant is very good, although if you're happy to walk their are some great places within walking distance.

I enjoyed my stay at the Hilton St. Charles- staff were lovely and v. helpful, rooms were a good standard. Quite close to the French Quarter. If you are traveling on business beware- they charge $13 per day for internet access. I was checked into a smoking room at the start of my stay which I wasn't happy with as... More

Whenever I come to NOLA I pretty much always stay at this hotel. It's in walking distance to everything in the French Quarter and right up the street from Canal Street. It's a nice hotel, well maintained, great customer service and always clean. It can be a bit pricey, but many hotels near the French Quarter are.

This was a hard rating to figure out. I had a tiny room, about the size of a normal suburban bedroom (13x20 or so). The room was small enough that a double bed was the only practical choice. It was on the Executive Floor, so an evening reception and morning Continental was included. The hotel is tastefully decorated, and the... More

Hi AccidentalGlobetrttr, Thank you for taking time to review our hotel. We are delighted that you enjoyed our historic hotel with modern amenities. The building was constructed as a Masonic Temple in 1926 and designed by Sam Stone. The architecture, exquisite woodwork and other design from the artisans of the 1920's is evident throughout the hotel and highlighted by the... More

I stayed at this property for 3 nights for a business meeting. It is conveniently located about 4 blocks from the French Quarter, which does make it a little quieter than many hotels. My room was rather small (it is an older hotel) but was pretty well maintained. There were some areas showing some wear. The concierge lounge is on... More

Stay away from this hotel. The service is horrible, resturant food was horrible and expensive, they charge for parking, even though you are a guest, and it takes longer than 20 minutes to get your car. Room prices are too high for the type of rooms they have.

This hotel maybe a bit old, but it's very well kept. The employees were very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect if you want to wander down to Bourbon St. Parking is a bit of a problem, but this goes for all the hotels in this area.

This is your typical Hilton-- nothing spectacular, but a good choice if you are doing business in the area. My room was clean and comfortable, and the check-in/check out process was fast and efficient. For dinner we went to a festival in the park right around the corner that they have on Wednesday nights and had amazing food, listened to... More
