Our group booked the whole place last week. It looks lovely online but in reality it needs some tender lovin' care. But what was more disappointing was the lack of hospitality on the part of the management. The kitchen didn't have enough coffee cups for our group of thirty so we were told that someone had them in their rooms... More

A large group of friends from our school came here for a weekend away and 8 of us were robbed WHILE WE WERE IN THE ROOM ASLEEP! Apparently this has happened a lot I only wish that we had seen the other bad review beforehand. When we confronted the manager about the theft and he was very unhelpful and provided... More

While this house is beautiful, I would not recommend staying here. While staying here, a lot of personal belongings were taken from me and the people in my group. This house has a history of theft and it is an inside job. Locking the doors will not protect you as the thief has a key to the rooms. This was... More

Usually I don't take the time to write reviews but I have to say that my experience at The Henry Howard House was so bad and unlike any other experience I've had staying at a bed and breakfast. The more I look at the pictures online versus what I saw in person makes me even more upset. I feel as... More

This is by far the worst place I have ever stayed. We rented out the entire mansion for my sisters wedding and we really wish we would have stayed somewhere else. The pictures they show on the website are totally deceiving. In my room I was supposed to have a King bed (which I did) along with a pull out... More

To start off, the room was not as advertised. The room was suppose to have a sleeper sofa, instead we had an air mattress. Much to our amusement we located our sofa on the balcony getting soaked in the rain, along with other garbage and month old Mardi-gras beads. Now that I look back there were a myriad of warning... We arrived on Thursday prior to Fat Tuesday and the room was ready. The elevator made it nice to bring our ton of stuff upstairs. Parking was even more of a challenge this year because the city was strictly enforcing the hard to understand rules and there was construction across the street. Ask a local about parking to ensure you... More

Needed an affordable place to stay in NOLA for the Sugar Bowl. There was literally no place available on short notice and discovered this place. We read the reviews, both good and bad so there were no surprises, thus, we were satisfied enough. If I was coming to NOLA at some other time that was not at peak demand, I... More

I have never had bad things to say about any vacation I have been on. I am very sad to be writing this review. Our trip started off wonderfully. This trip was a getaway for us to reconnect as husband and wife after the loss of our child. I picked the Henry Howard House because of its location and character.... More

First I would just like to say: The Henry Howard House (HHH) is the type of home (Victorian) AND in the prefect area (Garden District) I love & always expect to stay in my favorite city away from home, New Orleans. You can walk to the Trolley Stop/take the trolley too; easily get to shopping/cafes on Magazine St or just... More
