My wife and I enjoyed another great Mardi Gras stay at HHH (fourth year in a row). We arrived near midnight on Wed and the manager met us and provided our key. We stayed until the following Wed and everything exceeded our expectations. Great location for a wonderful time away from the Bourbon Street madness. Cab rides to Harrah's were... More

I usually stay with family when I come to New Orleans, but this time my husband and I decided to get our own space. We had difficulty finding affordable vacancies on short notice. I booked the HHH due to availability and affordability. After I paid I read some review websites that made me nervous about my decision. When we arrived... More

After reading all the reviews of unhappy customers who stayed in the French Quarter - I was glad I looked elsewhere. This Inn is beautiful and decorated very well. I had a conversation with John prior to our arrival. He said it would be just like staying at a friends house and indeed it was. We had access to everything... More

We stayed here during Mardi Gras 2014. We had two rooms and both were not clean upon arrival, but the manager had no problems with giving them to us. I called him immediately and he sent housekeeping over to properly make beds, dust, give us fresh towels, and to remove what I realized was a pillow with blood on it.... More

My extended family has gathered at Henry Howard House for a reunion at Mardi Gras every year for the past 6-7 years. It is always a great time and the folks at HHH make it feel like our home away from home. Comfortable rooms; beautifully appointed parlor; friendly and accommodating staff, and the location is perfect. Can't say enough about... More

Great accommodations for visiting the "Big Easy". Just a hop, skip, and street car from Bourbon Street. Many choices for food within walking distance. If you don't mind the B&B way, this one's a keeper.

I came to NOLA with a group of 30 people, most of whom stayed at the Henry Howard House. The place was beautiful and perfect for our group. We'd rented bikes and the house was just a short ride from the French Quarter and all the major sites to be seen in town. With the streetcar just a block away,... More

I had a great time for my birthday weekend at the Henry Howard House. The place is beautiful and the people are amazing. Great location. I would definitely stay there again and recommend that anyone stay there for a visit to New Orleans.

I had a baby in august 2012 and she ended up in the nicu at children's hospital in Nola and we didn't have anywhere to stay so someone told us abt the HHH and I called and asked if we could stay as long as the baby was in the nicu and John said that would be fine. We arrived... More

The house was great but we were charged an additional $1300 after we departed. I called the proprietor several times and he promised a final statement which he never sent. I wonder how many people have been overcharged without knowing it. I wonder if the owners know this.
