The Lookout Inn was a highlight of our vacation. The room and hosts were perfect. We spent time in the neighborhood, the Bywater area is cute and filled with places to good places to eat. We did not need a car and used the bus to get to the French quarter and Magazine street. After a day of sightseeing it... More

We stayed here for three nights. Seamless check in and warm welcome by the host. A beautiful home in a fun neighborhood off the beaten path. Not a classic hotel or B&B but everything you need: The suite was spacious and lovely decorated, a nice backyard with pool, hot tub, outdoor mini kitchen, coffee maker and fridge in the room.... The Lookout Inn was a great house in the Bywater area. It is just about a block from the 5 bus stop to the French Quarter and just a few doors down from Bar Re-dux, which I highly recommend for food and drinks. Each room is themed, there is a nice backyard with pool, hot tub, outdoor mini kitchen area... More

My husband, mother-in-law and I stopped off in NO for a couple days of relaxing. I wanted something close to the heart of NO which of course is the French Quarter. The Lookout Inn was perfect. We stayed in the Bollywood room which is vibrant and alive...so different from a sterile hotel chain. The building is in an older residential... More

We just returned from our first trip to New Orleans and we can't wait to go back. The Lookout Inn was fantastic and I can't imagine staying anywhere else now. The Mardis Gras suite was beautiful and unique - something you wouldn't find in a chain hotel. The pool was a little oasis and the overall vibe was just lovely.... More

I just stayed at the Lookout in May and it was great. Our small group really enjoyed hanging by the pool, visiting local restaurants & shops and having a spacious, comfortable suite. It's close to the French Quarter but we loved being in Bywater so I could check out non-tourist spots like Bacchanal and Sugar Park. Pool & patio action... More

Beautiful pace to stay in NOLA. We were a group of 6 Irish going to NO to party, and the Lookout ticked all the boxes. Kelly (Innkeeper) and her husband were very warm and friendly. The rooms were very comfortable, and the pool and hot tub make it a great place to be after a night on the town! Great... More

We booked a bachelor party at the Lookout Inn in NOLA very recently and just had a GREAT time!! Great accommodations, very friendly inn keepers, great price, great proximity to all that NOLA has to offer, & by the way - it has a pool AND hot tub. When most people think of New Orleans they picture Bourbon Street and the French Quarter but there is so much more to this amazing city and the Lookout Inn gives you the opportunity to experience a different side of NOLA. The Lookout Inn is located in the Bywater, a unique neighborhood of artists and locals that you can easily spend... More
