Great B&B, clean rooms, nice breakfast. The gem of this place is the beautiful pool and grounds. Palm trees, flowers, fountain, a cute little waterfall, all make it seem miles away from the quarter, but you are only blocks.

I stayed at the Lion's Inn on my first visit to New Orleans a few weeks ago, and it's definitely a part of the trip I remember fondly. It was also my first B&B experience - one I entered into somewhat warily. I always imagined B&B's to be a bit creepy - sharing breakfast with a bunch of strangers, old... More

My wife found this B & B online and I thought, OH NO.. As it turned out was a great choice. Close enough that we could walk to the French Quarter. Rooms were small, but we just used them for sleeping so they were fine. Oasis in the back yard was a great plus. After walking all day the pool... More

First trip to Nola; Lions Inn was one of my big wins. Close enough to walk to Frenchman Street and only a cheap late night Uber ride from Bourbon Street, Lions Inn was in a quaint and safe part of the city that created a relaxing respite from our daytime adventures to our late nite eats and drinks. The room... More

Staying here allowed me to explore the French Quarter and beyond quite easily. The people who cite that it's far from the Quarter probably just didn't enjoy the walk around Marigny. And it was only $7 to safely be driven by a cab back at night (from the quarter). There were good places to eat, have a drink and even... More

Very nice b&b. Well situated. Ed, the owner is very nice and helpful. The climatisation was a little bit too noisy on the room but we were tired so we slept very well. I recommand. Swimming pool and tub available. Terrace to eat your breakfast (be careful with the mosquitos if you don't want to be eaten at your turn).... More

Ed was so helpful when booking, I had some questions about transportation shuttle vs. cab, advised we use United Cabs and we did for the whole trip, they were great! Arriving at the property we were greeted at the door by Ed who provided a rundown of the property/amenities provided and then a map of the area (came in extremely... More

I stayed at the Lions Inn 5-5- to 5-8-2015. The location was an easy ten minute walk to the French Quarter. I felt safe walking to and from theFrench Quarter. I would probably take a taxi after dark so has not to get lost walking back. I also felt the neighborhood was safe. The Lions Inn was a great place... More

Neat and quiet-appearing from the street, a side door opens the way to a brick pathway leading to a lovely pool and natural pond environment that is meticulously landscaped. The rear of this B&B feels like a tropical island to this New Englander in mid-April. Breakfast offers a variety of choices, so my 8-night stay started each morning with a... More

Warm welcome, good documentation available, nice pool/garden area, and there are free bikes available and they are great bikes! The inn is very well kept and clean. Breakfast is abundant, however the coffee is not good. Should be using local beans like Coffee du Monde or at least a better than average brand. This simple detail makes a difference for... More
