Warm welcome, good documentation available, nice pool/garden area, and there are free bikes available and they are great bikes! The inn is very well kept and clean. Breakfast is abundant, however the coffee is not good. Should be using local beans like Coffee du Monde or at least a better than average brand. This simple detail makes a difference for... More

Its a nice place, with a beauty energy. Just the place that somebody need in a trip to rest in peace. The bed and breakfast is located in a good zone too. The service is so gentile. You must enjoy it.

My husband and I found the Lions Inn on line and booked it for a week, based on some good old honest reviews. We had a bedroom with a queen bed, small kitchenette and bath at a very affordable price. Originally, we booked a hotel near Bourbon Street, but we've always liked quaint out of the way places that don't... More

I stayed at this B&B 02/18/15 - 02/21/15. It's Chartes, the locals pronounce it "charters". The main reason I chose this inn was approx. close proximity to the French Quarter and the price. My room was number 5. It shared a bath, commode, pedestal sink and corner shower. It was in the house adjacent to first of two houses operated... More

Our party of 4 arrived travel weary after flying in from the UK for Mardi Gras. We stayed at the Lions Inn for 6 nights and the hosts could not have been more accommodating. Fresh towels/housekeeping every day, the room was lovely + spacious (we were in the attic), the shower was fab (although if you are taller than 5ft6... More

My wife and I were on a road trip (Nashville, Memphis and New Orleans) prior to a cruise. The Lions was just perfect for us, the area is very quiet and maybe 5 minutes walk to Frenchmen Street and a further 5 minutes or so to the French Market. We parked the car on the street outside and did not... More

We spent a week at the Lions and enjoyed every day. Our room was in the attic and we had lots of space. Good B&Bs have the advantage over hotels in that you get to meet lots of interesting people and that is just what happens at the Lions. We had lots of advice from others visiting the city and... Nice place to stay, has got a lot of character. Breakfast is great. Owner helpfull. What I liked most about this B&B was the area where it was located (the Marigny), a quiet and attractive little neighbourhood just outside the French Quarter.

My boyfriend & I stayed here for 6 nights in October, in room A. The Inn is very nice, area out back is like a oasis with a swimming pool & hot tub, very relaxing! Met a lot of great people, staying at the Inn and even at the Friendly Bar a few blocks away, would also recommend the bakery... More

I went to Nola with a friend in mid-September to experience the city and all it had to offer. We chose to stay at a B & B after we had previous good experiences, and think it is much nicer than a traditional hotel. Chose Lions Inn after reading the reviews here and found that this was one of the... More
