My wife and I were on a road trip (Nashville, Memphis and New Orleans) prior to a cruise. The Lions was just perfect for us, the area is very quiet and maybe 5 minutes walk to Frenchmen Street and a further 5 minutes or so to the French Market. We parked the car on the street outside and did not... More

We spent a week at the Lions and enjoyed every day. Our room was in the attic and we had lots of space. Good B&Bs have the advantage over hotels in that you get to meet lots of interesting people and that is just what happens at the Lions. We had lots of advice from others visiting the city and... Nice place to stay, has got a lot of character. Breakfast is great. Owner helpfull. What I liked most about this B&B was the area where it was located (the Marigny), a quiet and attractive little neighbourhood just outside the French Quarter.

My boyfriend & I stayed here for 6 nights in October, in room A. The Inn is very nice, area out back is like a oasis with a swimming pool & hot tub, very relaxing! Met a lot of great people, staying at the Inn and even at the Friendly Bar a few blocks away, would also recommend the bakery... More

I went to Nola with a friend in mid-September to experience the city and all it had to offer. We chose to stay at a B & B after we had previous good experiences, and think it is much nicer than a traditional hotel. Chose Lions Inn after reading the reviews here and found that this was one of the... More

The absolute nicest place in the Marigny of New Orleans. Great hospitality with a gorgeous view.. highly recommended. Short walk or cab ride to the quarter. Excellent bakery across the street. Not to mention the Hot tub and pool. Can't wait to stay again with the wife. Arthur local from Marrero LA.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Lions Inn - a great value for price paid. We stayed in rm 5 with a shared bath (which was never an issue). I liked that the building we were in had it's own access and we were only in the main house for breakfast (simple continental but more than sufficient). Big bonus... More

Me and my partner visited Nola for the first time between 9-16 july 2014 and stayed at the Lion's Inn and we absolutely LOVED it! This is THE place to stay when you're in Nola. We walked or rode the bikes you can borrow for free basically everywhere. The neighbourhood is quiet, feels safe to walk in and there's cafe's... More

My daughter and 2 granddaughters and I arrived late afternoon and when we entered the home the owner's dog immediately jumped and growled at the girls. Once we got to our room and used the commode it clogged, my daughter ran downstairs and Ed just gave her a handful of towels to clean up any mess. Mind you it was... More

We really enjoyed our 4 nights at The Lion Inn. The new proprietor, Ed, was always courteous and helpful without being intrusive. It is well located for a few days exploring NOLA. The surrounding Marigny district is full of delightful houses and the Cake Café just down Chartres Street excellent for lunch (closes at 3pm). A safe 10 minute walk... More
