GF and I visited during March when the weather was comfortable enough to go walking around w/o suffering frostbite or heatstroke. This B&B was perfectly situated for all kinds of touristy stuff. First, it's on Magazine St., which is sort of "Bourbon St. Lite". It looks like a lot of other city's artsy, bar-crawl strips, but has a variety of... More

This was our first time to New Orleans and with a child we wanted to stay away from the night life and hustle and bustle of the city. The location is awesome....the number 11 bus is 2 houses down and for just 3 dollars you can get a day pass. The bus drops you off on canal street and its... More

Raynell and Luis run a really nice, comfortable, quiet B&B that gets you out of the CBD if you're here for work. It's really easy to get around, as the number 11 bus stops right at their corner and goes straight to Canal, and it's a short walk to the convention center or French quarter. And it's nice walking around... More

To be honest, this is not a review of the B&B. Although I've never stayed there, I plan to get a room the next time I visit New Orleans and will wholeheartedly recommend it to friends/family. Based on the brief, but meaningful encounter with one of the owners, I learned all I need to know about the Garden District B&B... More

We have stayed here four times. Our kids go to Tulane and we like to go to the Quarter, so this is perfect. The B&B is located on the quiet end of Magazine, in an 1800s home that has been a medical office, a brothel and God knows what else. Great antiques, vaulted ceilings, pine floors and garden with song... More

I have been a guest of the Garden District B&B several times over the last nine years and have stayed in every room at least once. Each room is unique and has different qualities to recommend it (i.e., the Martha room's balcony, the elegant charm of the Rose room, the Patio room's private courtyard, etc.). I have recommended this B&B... More

We arrived on a Friday night to attend a wedding Saturday at noon. Our Saturday was lovely. We stayed cozy in the porch room on an oddly cold weekend. The morning we were scheduled to depart, my husband found our vehicle had been hit overnight. It was totaled. We were an hour from our home and needed to begin the... More

Thanks for staying with us and for your review. We will always look out for our guests' best interest and help them in any way we can. In our 10 years of operating the B&B, this was the first time that a guest owned vehicle had ever been damaged. Magazine St is a busy street, but we don't consider it... More

Stayed here for 3 nights in early September. Truly is a wonderful place. Excellent location right in the heart of the Garden District. Magazine street Po Boy shop is a must, as is Joey K's restaurant nearby. Raynell is a wonderful host, happy to help & advise with her wealth of local knowledge. A good walk to the city, but... More

Stayed 4 nights here on Magazine Street in the Garden District, New Orleans. Review below "What a Find" says it all and we can confirm from experience, just like she says!! Raynelle and Luis were very welcoming, we had the Patio room with its own entry so only saw them if we had a query or by chance. The "room... More

Spent two nights here in the Rose Room in celebration of our anniversary. Raynell was very friendly and very informed about things to do and places to eat in the area. Had several guide books on New Orleans. Wi-fi was available as well as a computer in the lobby for guest use. The private kitchen adjoining our room had a... More
