We stayed at the Marigny Manor House over Thanksgiving and absolutely loved it! The B & B is perfectly located five blocks away from the French Quarter – some folks may think they want to stay in the Quarter, but around 3:00 a.m. when people are still (loudly) partying in the streets (every night), you will be most appreciative that... John and Gil are warm, wonderful, knowledgeable hosts. They gave great advice for exploring the area - from food, to self-guided walking tours, to live jazz. The location of the Inn is perfect for those who like to wander on foot and, in particular, have a penchant for jazz bar hopping. We had a great time and are looking forward... More

John and Gill are amazing hosts who go out of their way to make you feel at home and very welcome in their beautiful home. John is so knowledgable about all the things to do, see, hear and eat in Nerw Orleans and Gill's breakfasts set you up for a good days sightseeing. As a group of 6 from the... More

The Marigny Manor House Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful historical house to stay in. The house sits near Frenchman Street, which is the center of a modern New Orleans’ culture and music scene. Walk around the corner of Frenchman and you’ll find yourself in the French Quarter right near the market. John and Gil are perfect hosts and they... More

The Marigny Manor House is what you expect to see when you visit New Orleans. It is a beautiful B&B located just a few streets from the French Quarter and the daily market. It is the perfect place to stay when you want to be in the French Quarter but not near the noise. We stayed in the balcony suite,... More

Stayed here for a weekend in October and the location was excellent for enjoying the French Quarter that was just a ten minute walk away. John & Gil were very welcoming and the breakfasts were delicious and well presented. Just a word of warning for anyone allergic to cigarette smoke - one of the hosts does smoke in the house.... More

And as we state on our web page, we do allow smoking in our Courtyard, and the Front Porch and Balconies. We agree... More

John and Gil are the ultimate hosts! We spent our first child-free vacation since our daughter was born here and it couldn't have been better. By the time we were coming home I was considering real estate I loved the Marigny neighborhood so much, thanks to John and Gil. The Balcony Room is very comfortable, roomy and charming with a... We stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed it! John and Gill were great hosts and filled us in on the history of the city and recommended good places to eat and go out. Every morning we had a nice chat after breakfast. Our room, the balcony room, exceeded our expectations and was really comfy with a fantastic four-poster... More
