The rooms were nice, close, but not too close, to the French Quarter. Street Car stop 1/2 block away. The desk attendants, although very friendly, knew very little about the city they were in, in regards to transportation, restaurants, sightseeing. As this was our first trip to New Orleans, we we sort of hoping for better information. The A/C in... more

I enjoyed my stay here. The bed was very comfortable. Room was clean. Service was very nice. Everyone said hello, good morning, how are you? I would of given it 5 stars but it is a bit on the other side of the french quarter. Quick walk to Harrahs, mothers etc. I left a personal item at the hotel and... more

First of all...do yourself a favor and if you have a car, take the valet service. Now, whether or not you have a car, do yourself a favor and use the massage chair in the garage area. It's there for you to enjoy. I wasn't sure, so I went and sat in it. When a parking attendant came by, I... more

A friend and I chose to stay here because of Hilton membership, and the rate wasn't bad either. We also chose to stay here because of other reviews on tripadvisor and from the said location (only a few block from the french quater). The hotel itself was unique, quiet, and clean. The rooms were very basic and somewhat on the... more

I just spent three nights at the Hilton Garden Inn New Orleans French Quarter/CBD. It was a great stay. The Hilton is clean, with large open rooms. This was the quietest hotel stay I have have in a while , with no hallway, wall, or outside noise. The hotel is well situated for the French Quarter, and for Harrah's. It... more

After arriving and not being impressed by the hotel, the manager actually argued with me. The check-in person was great, but for some reason the manager has issues with any kind of discounted rate (I'm an airline employee). If we had better sense we would have gone somewhere else. The rooms are OK and clean but just basic when compared... more

We chose this HGI for several reasons. Roof-top pool newer property, walking distance to FQ action, Hilton membership points, breakfast on site. The location is in the Central Business District (CBD). On the maps it looks like it's quite a hike to the French Quarter, but you have to remember that FQ blocks are a lot smaller than city blocks... more

Some friends and I just spent the weekend here and overall, it was a good stay. It's on a quiet street just off Canal, which is great because there wasn't traffic on the street or screaming drunk people at 5am. They also gave me some complimentary breakfast coupons for the friends staying with me, which was a nice touch. There... more

At first glance, an odd property since you really never see the hotel and enter through the garage with hotel occupying top floors of old office building. I visit New Orleans often and prefer staying near but not in the French Quarter and there are plenty of hotel options that fit this description but for the location and price you... more

This was my second stay at this Hilton Garden Inn in the French Quarter. I booked it primarily because of the price (around 90.00) and since I had stayed there once before and I am a Hilton Diamond Member I knew what to expect. The hotel is kind of secluded, so be careful or you will pass right by it... more
