We stayed here for one night in February during early Mardi Gras season. The hotel itself is very nice although a bit of a walk to Bourbon Street versus other hotels I've stayed at in New Orleans. Room was great, had free wi-fi and we were happy with room amenities. Only downside was continental breakfast. We had plans to leave... More

Just across the street from the French Quarter the St Christopher is located in a perfect location. Our room was clean and spacious and the hotel staff very friendly. Would definitely stay again and I believe a good value. More

This hotel like many is an old warehouse that has been converted. It is half a block off Canal Street and only like 4 blocks to Bourbon Street. The room is smallish but clean with great old floor to ceiling windows and a large bathroom that also had a large window. Convenient, reasonablly priced and free internet. Not a lot... More

Pleasantly surprised when making last minute reservations..this was a clean room - very comfortable bed...cold air - great price - actually a bargain...I've stayed in higher priced hotels and the room wasn't any better Area recommendations the theatre/arts district was very nice, felt safe. I would stay just on the outskirts of the french quarter More

This hotel is a great location right off canal st. Nice big room with floor to ceiling windows and a refrig. The staff at the front desk was cheerfull. the only drawback is their house keeping. They never cleaned the floors. The breakfast was nothing to brag about. More

the red cross set me up in this hotel after my apartment building caught on fire. After sleeping in the bed I woke up with welts all over my arm and torso. Its the first week of the month and they put a $30/night hold on my card, with out telling me, and when I checked out they added another... More

Hotel was clean and loved having a small fridge and safe in the room. Room was small however very quiet and good value considering we were downtown. Walking distance to everything. More

I stayed at the Best Western St. Christopher in January 2012 for 2 nights. I got a bargain AAA rate of $98/night and was quite pleased with it overall. It's an old, historic building with exposed brick in the room and it has been nicely updated. I stayed in a room with a queen size bed on the 8th floor... More

Thirty minutes prior to checking in the hotel called to say that they were overbooked, but had a room for us on the New Orleans Westbank. I told the manager that this was not acceptable and she would have to find us another room. She called back in about 20 minutes and said to come on down to the hotel... More

I will preface this with the fact that I was violently ill with a stomach virus during my stay, so that could color my view, but some things are objectively true. First, the furniture was too large for the room, and I had to move chairs to make it functional. That's cool, though. I can handle "quaint"- but what I... More
