My wife and I stayed here for our 6 year anniversary. The breakfast was great and the owner/chef is very nice. He gave us a ride to dinner in the pouring rain one night because taxis won't stop to pick you up. It's really weird. And no taxi company will send people there at night. It's an 8 block walk... Just returned from a great time in New Orleans. We had the Eurasia room for our 3 adult children and the North American cottage for my husband and myself. The only draw back was my husband is disabled and getting in to the main house was a little difficult. The North American cottage was fully accessible and a great place... More

Beautiful rooms, gracious hosts, and excellent gourmet breakfast awaits you at this New Orleans B&B. There is a very relaxed atmosphere and the hosts are very friendly and have great suggestions for local restaurants. Secure courtyard for vehicle parking is a big plus. Well situated for the French Quarter, Museum of Art, and Interstate access.

Had a fantastic stay at the Five Continents Bed and Breakfast. We stayed in the Eurasian suite which had two bedrooms and they were both very spacious and the bathroom was clean and very nice as well. The house is very nice and truly wowed us all the detail and fantastic managing of the property. The location is close to... More

We loved this beautiful old home. Really enjoyed walking from this property to the French Quarter. Breakfasts were amazing! Great location! Very clean and very comfortable beds. If you want an authentic New Orleans experience, I'd highly recommend 5 Continents B&B.

Thanks for writing. One of things we love about the house is that so many of the original features of the house have been retained over almost 130 years and several changes in ownership. The eight fireplaces, the plaster work detail, the chandeliers, the fully functioning pocket doors, among other features are all original to the building. So glad you... More

Thanks for writing. I'm glad you enjoyed your visit here at the Five Continents. New Orleans is one of the few truly walkable cities in the US. There are so many attractions within walking distance, especially the Quarter. With our hearty breakfasts, many guests set out on foot and spend the day on foot, which is great fun. More

First of all i love the building, it is amazingly decorated, and beautifully maintained, we stayed in the Eurasian suite, it came with 2 bedrooms, the room next door was being renovated, but we never heard anything. Its about a 10-15 min walk to Burbon St, its actually a really pleasant road except at the start when you go under... More

So great to hear from you. I am sorry not to have met you personally. Becky does very well with the breakfast on the few occasions when I am away. We are in deed in a convenient location both to the French Quarter and Frenchmen Street, as well as to the Jazz Fest at the Fairgrounds. Hope to see you... More

My husband, 11-year-old daughter and I stayed at The Five Continents in the Eurasian Suite, which offered two separate bedrooms. My daughter's room had a full size bed and ours had a queen size bed, and our room also had a doorway that opened to a balcony area. The house is gorgeous, with high ceilings and interesting decor and the... More

This was my first bed and breakfast and fell in love with this place. The owner, Peter, made you feel at hom, was informative, and made the best breakfast I have ever eaten. I loved the hashbrowns. The suite was comfortable, decorated beautiful, and I loved the old claw foot bathtub. I highly recommend staying here and I for one... More

I'm so glad that your first experience with a B&B was here at the Five Continents. It was great to have you with us. We get lots of wonderful comments about the breakfasts, and for some reason many people love my hashbrowns and remark about them. I make them fresh for each plate, the way we make them in Vienna....
