My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at the Five Continents Bed and Breakfast, and we are so glad we did! This gorgeous B&B is tucked away in a residential area *technically* within walking distance to the heart of the French Quarter, but I wouldn't, just because it's so hot right now (June). A taxi was less than $10... More

OMG - what a wonderful B&B with superb hosts, along with little Aako the dog. We had the European suite for 2 nights, consisting of huge bedroom, huge living room and large bathroom, with balcony running the whole width of the house. Filled with antiques! The breakfasts were 5Diamond quality - check out the menu on their website. The French... More

It was great having you here at the Five Continents. Thanks for your kind words. We are ideally situated for both the Jazz Fest and the French Quarter and many people walk to both, or as you say take the bus which stops across the street. The view from the balcony in the European Suite is great, especially when there... More

I stayed at this B&B with a friend for two nights in early April. We were due to arrive in NOLA earlier than expected, and we thought we'd try our luck with an early check in. Once I called and left a message, it was returned within the hour and Peter told us that our room may or may not... More

Thanks for writing. I'm so glad that you enjoyed your stay here. The Asian Suite is indeed a very comfortable and cozy set of rooms, and we appreciate your feedback. We are especially convenient to Frenchmen Street where so many of the music clubs are located. We look forward to seeing you again sometime at the Five Continents. More

Great B&B in NO. Parking for guests. Pets allowed. Best breakfast ever anywhere. we stayed in the Americana Cottage in the back as we had our little Yorkie with us. Cutest little cottage with a porch. Peter is very personable, makes breakfast to order and he makes the BEST hashbrowns. Actually all the breakfst food is good--be prepared to overeat.... More

So glad you all had a good time here. We always enjoy having pets in the North American Cottage which is ideal for that. Guests enjoy the walk to and from the French Quarter, but some will take a cab (usually around $7) or the bus ($1.50) back when they've had a long day exploring our interesting city. We look... More

I found this B & B after searching through numerous reveiws of different B&B's in NOLA. We arrived and Peter greeted us and wanted to make sure we were settled, showed us the house and our room. The parking is off the street which is secure. Breakfast was incredible, Peter is a wonderful host and cook. The house was very... More

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Five Continents. Peter was an excellent host and had a lot of insight on the area. His breakfasts were wonderful. Akko the dog was very sweet and welcoming. The home is beautiful and the Asian Suite was great- it was nice having a separate area for sitting/TV and a separate entrance. I... More

I'd like to thank the hosts Peter and Walter for a great stay at the five continents. I was here for a week on a conference and really enjoyed coming back to this beautiful old house full of atmosphere after long days in the convention center, and to the hospitality of Peter and Walter. Our accommodations provided a lovely backdrop to our visit to N.O. The amenities were comfortable and attractive. Peter prepared a delicious breakfast, and Walter provided lots of information about the history and culture of New Orleans. We would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful B & B to friends and family.

Peter, Walter and Akko are gracious hosts and made us most welcome for our return to New Orleans, 10 years after we got married at the then New Orleans Wedding Chapel just up the road.
