Loved this building, lots of quaint character. We stayed in the Egyptian room. Parking was gated and private so you feel safe not having to leave your car on the street. You can come and go as you please with your own set of keys, building is always locked so it's very safe. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic! The walk wasn't... More

My husband and I stayed in the cottage behind the bed and breakfast. The place is clean, quiet, and had everything we needed. The French Quarter is only a 10-15 minute walk from the bed and breakfast. We really enjoyed breakfast in the mornings and coming back "home" in the evenings. Peter is an excellent host and chef. We will... More

Let's start by saying location is fantastic. Our room was lavishly decorated we had the Asia room. The only thing we say is because the shutters were closed no natural light got in. The balcony outside was lovely and gave us chance to get to know the neighbours. The breakfast was amazing and great choice. Peter was our host for... More

This place exceeded all expectations. Ten minute walk from French Quarter and about 25ish from the Superdome. A nice quiet place to retreat to after hitting the town. The owners respect your privacy whilst remaining welcoming and helpful, and the included breakfast was insane - better than most you'd go out and pay for!

This B&B is exactly what you expect. It is a very old, majestic home. Our room was comfortable and clean. The atmosphere is informal. There were a couple of burnt out light bulbs which is always a little annoying. Breakfast was great and the owner/staff was very friendly and helpful with lots of good advice. We only spent one night... More

We are a married couple who rented the European Suite and my mother joined us for our 3 night stay. We booked this B&B due to its proximity to the FQ and because they had a good Papa Noel discount for the holiday season. We’ve been to NOLA once before and stayed at a B&B in the garden district. Each... More

My husband and I stayed for 8 nights in the Cottage the week of Thanksgiving. There is nothing I can add to what other rave reviewers have already said...breakfast--outstanding gourmet breakfast; room--clean, well appointed, large bathroom, fridge, microwave, comfortable bed; location--bus stop right outside the door and the bus can get you anywhere in the city with unlimited use for... First off, the gourmet breakfast served everyday was alone worth the visit. The Russian Eggs and the New Orleans Scramble were fantastic. We stayed in the North American Cottage which was absolutely charming. It had its own porch which was perfect for late-night cocktails. The owners were friendly and very accommodating. It's located within a 10-15 minute walk to the... More

Beautiful and comfortable room and wonderful hosts. The breakfast was amazing! My friend and I stayed in the North American cottage since we were traveling with our dog - really nice and private and the owners are very dog-friendly. The owners gave us advice on what to see in the city and how to get around - where to see... More
