I arrived at the Balcony Inn during one of the worst rainstorms New Orleans has had in a while. When I arrived and check in at the restaurant on the first floor, I was greeted with a free drink which was quite welcome after an hour of navigating flooded streets and highways. The Inn has clean and practical rooms in... more

Don't think about it anymore, book your room in the Balkony Guesthouse right now! I came to New Orleans on my own and found this amazing place by chance just because the room I booked in another hostel was not available. I enjoyed my stay in the Balcony Guesthouse so much that it will be definitely be my first choice... more

We totally enjoyed our stay at the Balcony Guest House Bed & Breakfast. Their entire staff was just great...right there when we needed anything. The room was adorable, clean and comfortable and I loved being able to go out to the balcony in the evening. During our stay, we were lucky enough that the weather was cool enough to be... more

The Balcony Guesthouse was a great gift on my visit to New Orleans. I happened to stumble upon it by accident, and never wanted to leave again. The room, with wooden floors, bed and closets is very tasteful, quiet, honest and clean, with a balcony surrounding the house that is perfect to hang out on. The people that work at... more

We were so please with this little B&B. It is just a few blocks from the french quarter and there is parking on the street. The owner was very friendly and so was the staff. The cafe downstairs made it very convient for a snack, lunch, or dinner. It's not fancy, but very quaint. We will defienently go back! more

Whenever traveling to New Orleans, the Marigny is one the greatest neighborhood in which to be. The Balcony Guest House is perfectly located, close to Mimi's and the Cake Shop and a short walk to the Quarter. It's quiet, clean and well-kept with wonderful, hospitable owners. more

The service we experienced at the Balcony Guest House can best be described as accommodating. Our plans made it so that we had to check in late at night and check out early in the morning. The keypad on the outer door made it very easy to for the staff to leave our keys in our room before our arrival,... more

We discovered Schiro's after our rental "camp" on Ponchartrain blew away in Katrina. We visit N.O. (from Michigan) yearly for Jazz Fest, and a few times in between. Service is good, ask and receive. Rooms are all different, no cookie cutter, several open directly to the balcony, otherwise balc. access is easy down hall. Could skip Jazz Fest and still... more

This is really a unique guest house. where else can you find a grocery store, bar, restaurant, all with a guest house on the second floor. I have stayed over 12 time since the hurricane and have never had a bad experience. It is a quiet place, the staff is friendly. If i've needed something or the room needs attention,... more

A great place to stay while in New Orleans. A short walk to Frenchmen Street, which has great bars and music. Easy walking to the Quarter as well. Good food in the cafe. Overall the place has a great vibe and feel to it. I have stayed here twice and have enjoyed it both times. Definitely recommended. more
