We had a great time for our first time ever in the Big Easy! The restaurant has amazing food and this will be a future destination. Only issue we had was one of the rooms room 2 was always hot. Other then that great time!

A little tardy on our review....but worthy of leaving one. We are frequent visitors of New Orleans and in a last minute trip decided to try a B&B. Set above a Schiro's restaurant, this quaint, charming, eclectic B&B offered excellent value for the money. Within walking distance to the French Quarter and Frenchman, the owners greet the guests with complimentary... More

We stayed at the Balcony Guesthouse for our honeymoon in sept 2013. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The BGH is a short walk from the French Quarter and right next to the bus stop. We bought a week pass and rode the bus whenever we got too tired or too hot to walk. You can plan... More

We booked all 6 rooms for a Saturday wedding starting on Wednesday. Guests were from Pennsylvania, Chicago, Idaho and 2 mast sailboat. All enjoyed greatly the hospitality, atmosphere and balcony. If you don't want a hotel experience and want to enjoy a true stay. Please consider Schiro's. All staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Enjoy your complimentary cocktail and wonderful... More

My friends and I stayed in the suite for our NOLA spring break trip. The location is perfect, very to Bourbon Street and the walk to get there is beautiful. Every single staff member we encountered was extremely accommodating, and made great suggestions on what neighborhoods and attractions we should check out. The guest house was charming, clean, and the... More

We stayed at Balcony Guest House for Wrestlemania weekend and it was a great stay. The location is great as it's only about a 15 minute walk to Bourbon Street, and the service was excellent. The owner, Zak, offered us a complimentary drink on arrival and the waitress/bartender was super nice as well. The waitress/bartender worked the whole weekend and was... More

We went to New Orleans during the big orthopaedic surgeon convention so hotels were very hard to find. And when you did find a basic hotel it was several hundred dollars a night. So we did some research and found the Balcony Guest House. We hadn't stayed on this side of New Orleans before. The price was perfect! I was... More

I had such a lovely stay here for my spring break. The house itself was beautiful, eclectic, and very clean (with much appreciated complimentary coffee). It's central location made walking to different parts of the city very easy, and the part of the Marigny it's in is incredibly charming and alive. I would recommend staying here to anyone over and... The Balcony guesthouse is not for those who want a cookie-cutter hotel room. The basic rooms are tiny, but well furnished with a modern, well-lit bath. The sitting room was great as we befriended another couple staying there and we had a nice , quiet space to chat and have a bottle of wine we bought downstairs. Breakfast was good,... More
