On June 18th 2010 I made a reservation on the internet for a one night stay the 21st of June 2010 at the Andrew Jackson Hotel. I waited a few hours and checked my email and had still not received an email receipt or confirmation. I decided at this point that I was not comfortable with the business being legitimate... More

My boyfriend and I just got back from vacation in New Orleans and we loved our stay at the Andrew Jackson Hotel. After reading some of the previous reviews, I was scared about what to expect when I got there, but was very pleased with our experience. The hotel is blocks away from everything we wanted to do- the French... More

The Andrew Jackson is conveniently located near most attractions, yet quiet. The rooms are fairly small but clean. The furnishings could be updated or refinished. The courtyard was a nice place to eat the complimentary donuts and coffee in the morning. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for large extravigant rooms, stay at one of... I live in New Orleans and thought it would be a treat to stay at a boutique hotel for a "sister's weekend". The location of this hotel is perfect. That's about all the good I can say. I booked the trip for the 3 of us and was very disappointed and even embarrassed as soon as we opened the door... More

The AJ has a great location, which is why we chose it. However, how it merits its three stars is a total mystery. It feels as though it's being allowed to run itself down, to decay quietly. Our room had no windows (!) and so I asked for another. I was told that they were fully booked, but couldn't help... More

I booked two rooms for 3 nights over the net. When we arrived in town and got our rooms what a disappointment. They charged for a queen size bed but provided a full size bed. I tried to work my disagreement out with the front desk and the General Manager Stu with no success. Stu and the front desk staff... More

I booked a trip in the middle of November for New Years Eve on their website, and 2 weeks later I had to cancel due to a family death. I called the hotel and spoke with the woman at the front desk and she told me they would still charge me the deposit or one nights stay ($179.00) but that... More

I got a reservation to stay hear for a few days in late December. 2 months before this I cancelled my reservations. When I called in the evening around 6:00 pm I was told, " too bad, you still have to pay for it." Then I was hung up on. After calling the manager and leaving messages 20 days in... More
