Friends and I stayed here in April. The house is a beautiful, comfortable B&B well hosted by the owner and his excellent manager - all the staff were helpful and welcoming. We stayed for 10 days, went away with other friends for the weekend, then decided to come back for another 3 days because the house with its people (&... More

I always think of New Orleans as the French Quarter or Garden District and had never been to the mid-cities area just outside of the French Quarter. What a beautiful and fun area to stay, eat and relax. I just hopped on the cable car to get to the conference center. The O'Malley House is beautiful Victoria, but with modern... More

New Orleans can be experienced in different ways. You can get a hotel room around the French Quarter and go party or you can step back and live the charming gentility lifestyle, walk the neighborhoods, ride the street cars, and slow down. 1896 O'Malley House B&B is a great place to start out in. From the beautiful architecture, large rooms,... More

We returned to O'Malley house for another NOLA/JazzFest visit, and it felt like home. Well...a really beautiful home where someone makes our bed, coffee, and breakfast every day..and leaves us baked goods, chips, and wine in the evening. (Ok, it's not really like MY home at all, but a girl can dream.) This time my dad, and our twenty-something daughter... More

My husband and I visited New Orleans, April 19-23 for the first time, and we stayed at the 1896 O'Malley House. I can not say enough good thing's about this house. From the minute we entered the house until the minute we left, it was top notch. We stayed in room 2, king bed, it was sooo comfortable. Jason was... More

My wife and I took our first trip to New Orleans 4/18-4/21 and stay at the 1896 O'Malley House. This trip was a present for my wife and I couldn't have made a better choice. The location is perfect, just outside the hustle and bustle of the French Quarter, but is just less than a block off Canal Street and... More

We recently went for a 3 day weekend in New Orleans and found O'Malley House on Trip Advisor. It was a great choice. The home is beautiful, Jason-the Manager is a great host and the breakfasts were delicious! Very friendly other guests during our stay. It is an easy drive to other parts of town and it is a few... We spent a week at the 1896 O'Malley House. The location is excellent - a short cable car ride to The French Quarter and attractions like a cemetery tour, National World War II museum (terrific), and easy walking distance to great restaurants, coffee shops and the New Orleans Museum of Fine Arts (NOMA). The house is beautifully furnished and comfortable... More

The 1896 O'Malley House is a fabulous place to stay while visiting New Orleans. The home is very tastfully decorated both in the common areas and the rooms. Our room was beautiful and quiet and the very comfortable bed made for a restful night after a long day of touring. Larry and his staff have thought of every small detail... More

Spent 3 nights here and loved every minute of it. The room was fantastic, the food was wonderful and Larry is a great host! If you need help planning things to do just ask! This was our first stay at a B & B but my hubby is already talking about when we can plan a return trip!
