My husband and I were in town for one night and really wanted to stay in the Marigny. The reviews on Trip Advisor convinced me this was the place for us, and it was. Leigh and Jim were very thoughtful hosts and provided everything we could need. The were delightful to talk to and their dogs are adorable! Our room... More

It was my husband's first trip to NOLA and I wanted it to be special. Jim and Leigh made it just that! The attention to our comfort and every detail of our stay was amazing! We can't wait to go back! Not only is their home lovely and the room very comfortable, the breakfast was wonderful and the conversations even... More

This was the first time my husband and I stayed at a bed and breakfast. We absolutely loved the experience! We loved the charm and the location. It is just a short walk to wonderful Jazz locations on Frenchmen St. and the French Quarter. Jim and Leigh were very warm and welcoming! They helped with suggestions of things to see... More

We have been staying at the Elysian Fields Inn going back to before Katrina and before Jim and Leigh purchased the property. We have always enjoyed our stays but even more so after these two took over. Jim and Leigh have great knowledge of the neighborhood and of New Orleans history. Based on their recommendations we were introduced to the... More

We chose to stay here because we love the charm of bed and breakfasts and because of the location. We loved it! The neighborhood was an easy walk to the Quarter and through the Frenchmen Street area with fun food and music venues. Our hosts were gracious and welcoming! We definitely recommend this inn to anyone!

We really enjoyed our stay at Elysian Fields, we stayed at the Inn for three nights total. I thought the B&B was in a perfect location for New Orleans. Not too far of a walk from Frenchman St, with lots of entertainment, and about one mile from most of the activities we had planned. It was our first time visiting... More

My family stayed one night during Easter weekend. As one writer previously noted, this was everything a B&B should be! The home was really clean, the room was comfortable, and breakfast was incredible! However, Jim and Leigh were the highlight of our stay. If you happen to be there when they are serving the Mexican casserole, be sure to ask... More

Stayed here for 7 nights...we switched rooms mid-week to get the bigger room and get away from the front-door entrance. Sweet and helpful owners who have lots of great dining suggestions. My only complaint - guests tended to be on the noisy side when they arrived home in the evening...If you stay in the room by the front door, expect... More

This was really everything a B&B should be. Jim and Leigh are very friendly, but not overbearing. They will chat about anything, and make you feel right at home. PROS: The house is huge and in good condition, with a nice layout that includes two porch areas for sitting outside (front and back). The rooms are spacious and quiet, although... More

I am well acquainted with New Orleans, went to school there and visit it on a regular basis. I had never stayed in the Marigny area part of town, and am glad I did. The owners were very welcoming and knowledgeable about any subject on the city we spoke about, friendly and obviously veryglad to be living there. The room... More
