Just returned from a four-day weekend at Elysian Fields with another couple and we were very happy with our choice of accomodations (there are so many to choose from - it can be a little overwhelming!) The location of the inn location is perfect - very close to Frenchman Sreet and the French Quarter, but without being in the madness... More

This was my first trip to NOLA and my first B&B experience. Leigh and Jim were great. They were very friendly and they gave us great information about the area. The location is close to the French Quarter, so we walked everywhere...we walked alot.. and took cabs when we wanted too. Our car was safely tucked away in the garage,... More

My wife and I stayed at the Elysian Fields Inn in October to celebrate our anniversary. The hosts were friendly and accommodating and breakfast was very good. This was our first experience with a B&B and based on this experience we'll definitely try one again. My only negative is that our room was on the second floor and was quite... More

I took my whole family for the 4 days of Thanksgiving holiday. We were 17 of us and the house was perfect. We had room for everyone, it was quiet, very close to the French Quarter, and our hosts were wonderful. We had all we asked for, breakfast was great, another menu changing every day. It's a perfect place to... More

Me and my bestie spent 5 nights at this place and we absolutely loved it. This place is furnished with a lot of taste and is very gracious. It's seems a library almost from the hallway. They have 2 cute dogs too which are very friendly. The place is close to Frenchmen Street and actually close to everything, you can... More

We were lucky enough to stay at Elysian Fields Inn for eight nights, and came to regard it as 'home'. So close to Frenchmens Street and a short walk to the French Quarter, it was perfect for our music-centric visit. Hosts Leigh and Jim were there when necessary, providing lovely breakfasts and heaps of good advice and conversation, but unobtrusive... More

Beautiful restored historic home in a great neighborhood. It's within walking distance to the French Quarter. Wonderful people and a great breakfast. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended.

We spent a week visiting New Orleans and were so glad to have picked Elysian Fields. The location can't be beat. We were able to walk everywhere and felt completely safe. We were about 3 blocks from the French Quarter and very close to Frenchmen's Street where there are great restaurants and music. We didn't have a car and really... More

Excellently situated -- very close to the French Quarter and Frenchmen Street. Lovely building (especially the mahogany floors throughout), excellent breakfasts, extraordinary proprietors who are there to help and advise when that is needed, but are not intrusive at all. Highest recommendation.

Great bed-and-breakfast within walking distance of the French Quarter. The place was charming, clean, had friendly hosts, and served delicious breakfasts. We were there 3 nights and found it very convenient to the places we wanted to visit. The hosts - Jim and Leigh - were very welcoming and full of good recommendations. We went to one of the restaurants... More
