Our family of 9 booked 4 rooms for 3 nights here. It was a great stay. The location was good as we could easily walk most places we wanted to go, but it felt quiet even though the street is busy. Loved the front porch for gathering and enjoying the nice evenings. Leigh and Jim were very kind hosts and... More

We were cruising out of New Orleans and stayed here a few days before we left. Location was perfect. Walk a couple of blocks and you are in the French Quarter and only a short walk to many great eating and drinking places. It is a short taxi ride to the ship. Room was nice as was the relaxing porch... More

We arrived in New Orleans with great expectations re : the music, history, general atmosphere etc. Thanks to the Elysian Fields, coupled with Leigh and Jim's expert advise New Orleans more than exceeded our expectations. They advised us as where to find good music and food, museums to visit, and even booked us a marvellous plantation visit which picked us up... More

Our first stay at a B&B, my first time to New Orleans. Elysian Fields Inn was a perfect place to experience New Orleans. We walked from Frenchman St. and Bourbon St. and felt completely safe. We are light weights so it wasn't too late, midnight or so. Everywhere I looked inside the inn was clean and arranged nicely, we loved the... More

My wife and two pre-teen girls stayed in Suite 101 for three nights and loved it! Perfect for the four of us and close enough to walk just about anywhere for food or fun. Yes it is on a busy street, but we felt very secure and safe in this diverse friendly neighborhood. Jim and Leigh are very gracious and... More

My wife and I wanted a cozy room in a real New Orleans abode with character. We found it in the Elysian Fields Inn. The inn is nicely furnished with interesting accents and detail that draw your attention. The amount of polished wood creates much of the warm atmosphere. I love a home with interesting nooks and crannies and this... More

Just spent three nights there. The building is very historic and has lots of charm. The owners are very gracious and accommodating. Location is close to the French Quarter and is an easy walk. Good restaurants nearby.

Just returned from a four-day weekend at Elysian Fields with another couple and we were very happy with our choice of accomodations (there are so many to choose from - it can be a little overwhelming!) The location of the inn location is perfect - very close to Frenchman Sreet and the French Quarter, but without being in the madness... More

This was my first trip to NOLA and my first B&B experience. Leigh and Jim were great. They were very friendly and they gave us great information about the area. The location is close to the French Quarter, so we walked everywhere...we walked alot.. and took cabs when we wanted too. Our car was safely tucked away in the garage,... More

My wife and I stayed at the Elysian Fields Inn in October to celebrate our anniversary. The hosts were friendly and accommodating and breakfast was very good. This was our first experience with a B&B and based on this experience we'll definitely try one again. My only negative is that our room was on the second floor and was quite... More
