Great location if you want to be within walking distance of the French Quarter without all the noise 24/7. That said, if you are over 50, don't stay in Room 311. It is across from Lucy's retired surfer bar, which is very loud on the weekends. Not so much during the week. However the bed was comfortable. Room service was... More

This hotel is in a terrific spot away from the noise and craziness but still walkable to the tourist areas. I would recommend this when in the city. Reasonably priced for room, parking and food. However, was not overly thrilled with the service and attitude of the employees from the front desk, to the restaurant. These are people on the... More

this would get 5 stars however the service wasn't great! But the location and the rooms made up for it! Recently stayed here with my family of 4 for a short vacation. I liked the location away from the noise of the French Quarter! The first room we were given was a little dirty so we moved to another room.... More

I stayed here on business. I wanted a hotel outside the French Quarter so as to avoid the hubbub and hassle of the crowds, whilst being close enough to walk there and enjoy it in the evening (if I wanted), and this hotel was great for that, and superb in itself. The room was large and well appointed, light and... More

The hotel is not overly large, but provides all necessary services. It doesn't feel like a typical chain hotel. I was only here one night so I didn't get to use the hotel too much. Unfortunately, it does not offer a concierge lounge or any of the "special treatment" for platinum Marriott Rewards members. The room was great, good size,... More

I really enjoyed my stay here... The rooms are large and clean and the hotel has a very nice pool area outside on the top of the hotel. I also enjoyed the bar / restaurant area. The hotel is far enough away from the French Quarter as to enjoy a different feel of NOLA located in the area where there... More

Great location. Walking distance to numerous museums, restaurants, art galleries and the French Quarter. Rooms are very nice and the staff is great. Juri, the valet, was very helpful and was always available to get your vehicle. Some of the most helpful staff I have had in a while. Location is also very quiet.

Need to learn a new neighborhood in NOLA? The Renaissance New Orleans Art provided a modern, comfortable place to relax after a day touring NOLA. The rooms are a good size. The location in the still-renovating arts and gallery district was a good 15 minute walk to the Quarter. But who didn't need to work off those beignets and crawfish.... More

The location is perfect. Located only blocks away from the French Quarter, the hotel is close to all of the action but away from the noise. Wonderful staff, clean rooms and wonderful suggestions for restaurants in the area. My only complaint was the bed. It was too hard for us. Couldn't wait to return to our comfortable mattress.

This hotel was amazing from start to finish. The front desk staff are courteous, polite and helpful. We loved the decor and proximity to restaurants and entertainment. The hotel rooms are well appointed and quiet. I have a special needs child and the front desk went out of their way to make sure he was comfortable. I highly recommend it!
