The Renaissance Arts Hotel was perfect for what I was looking for. We were looking for a hotel with character, away from Bourbon St but close enough to walk to FQ, comfortable and clean rooms, good service. I was a little sad that my view was of the lobby rather than outside, but we barely spent any time in the... more

The Renaissance Arts Hotel was good, but I felt that they were trying too hard. The rooms were decent and spacious. The location was perfect, as I was for work as part of the Essence Festival. The valet service needed an attitude adjustment. Chris was great, but the others were borderline rude when I was dropping off and picking up... more

Just returned home after spending 6 days in New Orleans for the first time. The purpose of the visit was to attend a convention. The convention center was only about a 1/2 mile away and easy to navigate to. The Hotel was a great location to the French Quarter, Convention, Riverwalk shopping and many fine restaurants. The staff of the... more

Great location, Great Staff but very poor value for money. Twice the price of any other hotel we stayed during our trip and the one with the poorest offering. No breakfast included and only available delivered to the room at a substantial price if requested, €28 a day parking, no refrigerator in the room, no free wi-fi. more

I won this hotel on a Priceline bid, as I needed a crashpad after a family wedding. Hotel is centrally located in the warehouse district, close to Convention Center, Riverwalk, Harrah's, Canal, and only a few blocks to the French Quarter. Positives: Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, professional and extremly helpful. Our 4th floor room overlooked an... more

I was really disappointed with this hotel, The rooms area just not up to current standards you can get in other hotels for the same or even cheaper price. Firstly a charge for wifi in this day & age is ridiculous. Considering the heat experienced in New Orleans I found it astounding that there was no fridge in our room... more

Nice hotel about 4 blocks from the convention center. About 15 minutes walk from the French Market and Cafe Du Monde. Nice decor in the lobby and the room. No concierge but the people at the front desk were always helpful. Wired internet in the rooms. Wireless would have been more convenient. Overall, a very nice hotel. I stayed in... more

We got a great deal from Marriott.com for Memorial weekend. Price was great, including breakfasts for 2 adults and kids, plus a 50-dollar amazon gift card. The hotel is located in the warehouse district which we never stayed before. I found myself liked this area because it is quieter and clean. It is always a 5-15 minute walk to everywhere... more

Our 6th time in New Orleans - never stayed in the Wharehouse District. This was a pleasant surprise. Our room was Huge! Very clean. The lobby and common areas have beautiful art especially the hand blown glass hanging lamps. It's about a 15 minute walk to the street car which takes you right into the French Quarter. The only complaint... more

My husband and I just returned from 3 days at this hotel and it was fabulous! Lots of unexpected extras. We stayed on the Club Level, and the room had a refrigerator, a beautiful view of the city from the room as well as from the rooftop, and hot breakfast in the Club Lounge as well as delicious appetizers at... more
