A very nice hotel in a very good location, within walking distance of most everything. Only two blocks from the trolley, four or five blocks from canal/bourbon street. The hotel is very nice with a nice buffet breakfest, wonderfully confortable beds and a very friendly staff. I must give a special recognition to the wonderful concierge.

I love this hotel, the location was wonderful. My sister-n-law and I came downt for the weekend on Amtrack, hotel was walking distance from train and walking distance from major attractions. Plannig another visit in Nov. 2013 and already have confirmation numbers to stay here again!!! Staff is great.

For the location and amenities, it is impossible to beat this property in New Orleans. The best kept secret is that (and this is important for a facility with kitchen facilities) is that if you walk up Barronne (away from the French Quarter and past the Civic sign), you will find a Rousse's Grocery Store where excellent food is sold... Indeed, it was a home, away from home for us. Wonderful hotel, great staff, with everyday room service. The best part was the complimentary breakfast and dinner. We were greeted with a very friendly and professional staff. The room had ample space and clean. The bed was comfortable. Not far from Harrah's Casino and the French Quarter but a decent walk away. Breakfast was extremely tasty.

Staff was decent at best. Wake up calls were not made so be careful when asking for one if you really need one. I never was up in time for the breakfest but I did have Dinner once and it was pretty good, the free wine/beer was a bonus! I stayed her on a staff discount so it was fine... More

We stayed during the week and was served a nice dinner each night - with breakfast each morning. The indoor pool is nice and relaxing! A nice, clean hotel with strong shower and fluffy towels. They do not have valets to help you hail a cab - which was not good when I had a business appointment and it was a downpour with thunder and lightening.
