My husband and I just returned from a visit to New Orleans. The Hubbard Mansion was wonderful. The rooms are well maintained, spotless, beautifully decorated . Don and Sheila are such wonderful hosts. The location is fantastic. We parked our vehicle upon arrival and did not move it again until we left New Orleans. The streetcar makes travel around the... My husband and I along with my sister and her husband just returned from spending a long weekend with Shelia and Don at the Hubbard Mansion . We had a wonderful time. They are gracious hosts. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. I would recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone traveling to New Orleans. The location is... More

We stayed at HM in November 2014 for two days.We had the Dookie room, which was really beautiful. The room was very clean and beautifully decorated. The bathroom had a separate shower and bathtub and everything seems new and well maintained. The breakfast was delicious in a beautiful room. Breakfast was served at one big table with all the guest... More

We were a group of 10. In NOLA for the FQF and decided this year to stay at a B&B. And we found the best! A wonderful place owned and operated by great people who take great pride in what they do. Mr Don Hubbard is a wealth of knowledge and great host and historian. Sheila was warm, welcoming and... More

Our lofty lodging expectations for our recent visit to New Orleans to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary were exceeded in our very comfortable stay in Don Hubbard's gorgeous bed and breakfast. The room was large, very well appointed and breakfasts were delicious each morning. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a warm, friendly home away from home in the Garden District.... More

The Hilton across the street overbooked us, and made accommodations for us here in the Hubbard House. We were delighted, as it is a simple, clean, historic mansion and unique place to stay. We met Mr Hubbard who was a lovely gentleman. This stay including just a clean nicely decorated bedroom and private bath, nothing more. But I would stay... More

This is a beautiful, well thought out bed and breakfast truly built as a labor of love. The warmth of the host, Don Hubbard, is evident in the care and attention he gives to every detail of making his guests comfortable. The location is very convenient and there is even off street parking. We felt like family in Don's beautiful... More

A native New Orleanean, my husband and I returned to New Orleans for Mardi Gras for the first time since moving away in 1989. We booked a room at Hubbard Mansion almost a year before 2015 Mardi Gras and had a long time to look forward to it. They did not disappoint! The innkeeper Sheila was warm and fun and... More

Don Hubbard's mansion bed and breakfast is not a misdescription. It is housed in a faithful recreation (fifteen years old) of a substantial Greek revival town house on St. Charles Avenue, in the Garden District, and was recommended by Tulane University where my husband was giving a lecture. In addition to its wonderful decor, with antique furniture chosen by Don's... More

My husband and I were able to stay an extra night following a convention I attended in the French Quarter so we sought a place to stay outside the Quarter. Our first choice bed and breakfast was full; however we found Hubbard Mansion. WOW! What a find. Normally bed and breakfast's require 2 night minimums but they allowed us a... More
