We spent a total of 7 nights at this hotel. The rooms are lovely and filled with "antique" furnishings. Conveniences are modern--modern bathrooms, comfortable mattresses and bed linens, WIFI throughout the inn (though it works best on the main floor). A delicious hot breakfast is included. The manager, Tracey, is very helpful and accommodating.........

Perfect Bed & Breakfast. One block away from St. Charles where the Mardi Gras parades were happening. In between the Garden District and the French Quarter. Great location. I had lots of questions for the owners and guests. All answered.

After a horrible travelling day we arrived at the Parisian Courtyard and it was just magic! Tracey had kindly left keys for us and had even upgraded us to the King Room at the front of the Inn. The entry, parlour, staircase were spectacular and when we reached our room we were amazed at the beauty of it. We met... More

My husband and I stayed at The Parisian Courtyard for a week and had a wonderful time. The Inn is beautifully decorated and comfortable and in a perfect location (lower Garden District) for exploring New Orleans. We walked to most locations but also enjoyed taking the streetcar on St. Charles Avenue which is just one block from the Inn. Couldn't... More

So lovely to hear from you and it was a pleasure having you stay with us. I love it when I can help guide our guests to some great places instead of the usual things people think of when they come to New Orleans. Thanks for the kind words and sending a BiG Thanks for taking the time to write... More

My wife and I stayed at the Parisian Courtyard Inn on our anniversary trip and couldn't have been more pleased. We traveled to New Orleans by train from CA (great trip) after 10PM and Tracey had left us a key. Tracey is quite familiar with the city and recommended many great things to do and see outside the usual "touristy"... More

My husband and I just got back from staying here for New Years and the sugar bowl. We had such a great time! We have been to New Orleans many times, but this was one of our favorite places we've ever stayed. Everyone was super nice, it is in a great area right near the street car, and it has... More

Tracey and her husband Daniele have been extremely hospitable. Love the friendly and heartwarming greeting we received. They have been extremely accommodating and helpful with guiding us during our stay, with information about transportation and recommended places to visit during our stay. I will most definitely come back and stay at this B&B. The B&B is very nice and cozy.... More

Our visit to the Parisian Courtyard Inn was fantastic! Tracey greeted us upon arrival with great hospitality, offering tips to local dining spots, ease of access to the streetcar, and other local spots off the beaten track for our exploration. She provided maps and suggestions of best times to visit -- all sorts of local insights. Our accommodations were beautiful,... More

This is just a plain objective depiction of the things that happened. Because we got stuck in traffic while en route to the B&B, we called ahead announcing our delay. When finally arriving at around 6 p.m. we rang the bell several times, but there was no response. So, we called again. After a few minutes a woman, who we... More

Sorry you felt that way, and I have no problem with any nationality, gender or preference in any way. I am from Europe, my husband is from Europe and saying such a thing is totally ridiculous. We have had many wonderful German people stay with us and for you to imply otherwise is insulting. As far as me saying "you... More

This is a beautiful and charming little B&B near the Garden District, and because it's only two blocks from the St. Charles Ave. street car, it's also convenient to downtown. Breakfast each morning was delicious, and there was always plenty of everything. The bed was very comfy, and the bathroom in my room had recently been renovated, so it was... More

Staying in Garden District

Neighborhood Profile
Garden District
Head to the Garden District for the full-on New Orleans experience replete with quaintly clanking streetcars, proudly grandiose antebellum mansions, picture perfect avenues lined with live oaks loaded down with Spanish moss, and a wealth of beautiful churches and many more architectural marvels. Even a brief excursion here makes plain why it’s called the Garden District. So, when you visit be sure to give yourself ample time for admiration at a languidly slow pace befitting such gentile strand of riverside living and to allow you to maximize each opportunity to stop and smell the roses – and whichever other blooms you might come across. While taking it all in, you’d do well to dine at one of the city’s most beloved destinations for regional cuisine. Gourmands from far and wide (and right round the corner) swear the age-old Commander’s Palace is the best restaurant in town – and have been doing so since it opened back in 1880.
