Annabelle's is a mixed experience but then, so is New Orleans. The location is ideal as it is only a block from the trolley and there is a decent coffee house and restaurant (with bar naturally) right across the way. The room was more spacious than we needed and it was tended daily. Since we visited in the late fall,... More

My husband and I choose a bed and breakfast in New Orleans as we had never been, thought we might have interaction with the homeowners/personnel and enjoy a homier atmosphere. We booked for two nights (Sat. & Sun.) GOOD THINGS: First -built in 1850’s decorated to maintain the time period. Second – was the claw foot tub in private bath.... More

The good things: Nice staff and owner. Very gracioous and helpful. Large room with interesting furnishings...more like an antique store but with lots of history. One block (short block) walk to the trolley on St. Charles but still took 1/2 hr to get to the French Quarter. Quiet. The not so nice things: Little room to park the car, the... More

This is a perfect example of eclectic collection. Our room still had to have some finishing touches yet since Katrina wiped it out & the owners are still trying to fix the damage. That being said, the bathroom was very nice with a huge mirror and nice tub/shower combo. The room itself had an individual thermostat. We've stayed at lots... More

My daughter and I stayed here while moving her in to Tulane. The house is from the 1850's and is an absolute museum. You can spend hours looking at everything they have. The staircase is absolutely gorgeous! Our room was on the second floor. It was large, comfortable and had everything we needed. It was clean with an attached bathroom... More

During our first night of stay, our vehicle was towed from the driveway of the B&B. When recovering our vehicle from the city impound lot, the Sheriff's Deputy advised us that the city parking enforcement will not tow from a residence unless it is called in by someone at the residence. When we addressed this issue with the B&B owner,... More

On the first night of this guest's stay with us, an unfortunate event occurred. we only learned about it around noon the next day. What had happened was that while everyone in the house was asleep, his totally illegally parked car in the street had been towed. We advise all of our guests that have a car to park on... More

The place was very overpriced. My room was totally filthy. The floors hadn't been vacuumed, and the room smelled awful. There isn't even a tv in the rooms. I saw bugs crawling in the very small tub. Wood was rotten around all the doors and window seals. The door to the room wouldn't even lock from the outside, wo when... More

Loved the house and the neighborhood(stayed there 3 times). Perfect for those who want to do the French Quarter but don't want to be in it. The cost is great...walking distance to the Columns( great bar and breakfast place and walking distance to everything you need(restaurants and drug stores..great churches in the neighborhood) and on the street car line. Common... More
