extremely nice and helpful staff, clean room with lots of space, good price. For a budgeted hotel stay, Red Carpet Inn is highly recommended in my opinion. Gated parking lot gives peace of mind. Convience store right in front of hotel building with good food.

Its in a rough part of town but being honest all of New Orleans is rough. But if you just dont care or just need a bed to crash on after drunken times in the quarter go ahead. Don't bring ya kids or ya lady here, go find somewhere a little better for your hard earned money. What I can... More

Hotel was clean but bad sign when everyone is behind bullet proof glass every thing was locked up. Staff was some what friendly. The room was a 5 at the best nothing special here but a bed and a pillow to crash on at the last minute

The manager Brett was very rude, unprofessional and his appearance wasn't neat and he should have to keep his fingernails trimmed not have them long. Being our first time in New Orleans we weren't aware of the bad part of town it was located in or that the room was unclean until we looked at it. When we returned to... More

Family and friends went to New Orleans for the week of July 4th. Prior to leaving we made or reservations in advance like always. Over the phone we were told that a breakfast buffet was included and were given the times for breafast. We were also told that we were twenty minutes walking distance from Bourborn street. The hotel is... More

Terrible! Stay away from it. Over priced too. I will never stay here again. In the middle of the ghetto. They will charge you 15$ per extra person in each room. The room smells like smoke, I rather sleep in my car than this dirty and smelly hotel.

I had 2 weeks a safe stay in Red carpet INN. Thanks to the staff n the Manager Brett brought me to the airport my last day early morning - when I will be in New Orleans, I will be back again in Red Carpet Inn: it is a typical American Motel with TrailerPark, Office opening hours all day long,... We found the red carpet inn in no time you just turned off the motorway and it was right there clearly signed The room was large and comfortable comprising a sitting room bedroom kitchen area and bathroom, there was a fridge and microwave in the room which was clean and well presented, Breakfast consisted of cerwal croissants cake coffee/tea, the... Pros: Nice first impression, courteous staff, convenient location and gated parking made it feel safe. Cons: Noisy Sunday morning (couldn't sleep past 8), rough neighborhood (I would not bring my kids here) and rooms were in desperate need of attention! I'm really going easy on the place just read a few more reviews.

OMG. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was epically disgusting! There was some kind of stains on the mattress, I think it was dead hooker's blood. There were cigarette burns in the blankets of the non smoking room, lipstick stains on the "clean towels", dried urine on the floor of the bathroom around the... More
