Easy check in. The configuration of the hotel is a little strange with having to go up two escalators and down a long hallway past two restaurants before getting to the elevators. They did a very nice job renovating the hotel after Katrina and the extra electrical outlets located all over the room was very appreciated. We were there for... More

Stayed at this hotel for Mardi Gras, stayed from February 15th thru February 18th, my room was not cleaned once in that time! In fact when I left my room and came back the maid had put the "do not disturb" on the outside of my door, (so lazy). No cups provided in bathroom, horrible water pressure, this is rated... More

Great hotel for conventions and meetings. Attended a meeting and the location was perfect. My meeting was nearby so it was very convenient. You will have to walk a bit to the French quarter area, If the weather is nice, it will be a great walk. You must pay attention with the elevators. Tap your floor number and be sure... More

We went for Mardi Gras and the hotel is 4 blocks from St. Charles street where all the Uptown parades originate (and the bleachers you can pay to sit in). It's 2 blocks from the Canal Street Trolley Stop. Bourbon Street is a 20 minute walk if you don't want to ride the trolley's. The Super Dome is across the... More

There is no place more convenient if you are in for an event at the Dome or for a Hornets game. Dining options within the hotel are very good as well. If you are coming to explore New Orleans however you will probably end up using cabs. It's a pretty good hike to most sites. The rooms are nice although... More

Dear Karen P, Thank you for your review. I am glad to hear you were pleased with our accomodations and our location near the Superdome and Smoothie King arena. It's very convenient to all the events that are happening in the area. I would like to apologize for the inconvenience the self check in may have caused you. We will... More

Located next to the Superdome and about a 20 minute walk to the french quarter. It is a modern business hotel with good restaurants, bars and services. The Regency lounge is on the top floor with great city views, snacks and breakfast. The rooms are nice size, clean with buisness features. The hotel has a large open atrium in the... More

We got a discount rate for our stay here (just one night before moving on to an Airbnb in the French Quarter) and it was a nice stay. The hotel is massive and it took longer to walk to our rooms then it did to check in. They allowed us an early check-in and a hangover savior late checkout, which... More

Standard Hyatt room. Request a room in the Tower so you don't have to use that ridiculous elevator system they have. Regardless of the room location, all of the bathrooms are tiny. You have to shut the door to sit on the commode. Closets would be nice; it seems like every room I've ever had here has an armoire. A... More

We held a companu meeting here for about 400 people and the facilities were great. The property can accomodate large and small groups and the rooms are spread out. Sleeping rooms are adequate and quiet. The hotel elevator system is interesting as there are no buttons to push, everything is run by the key pad located at the elevators so... More

This hotel would be perfect if were located in the north east of the country rather than the south. The facilities are really nice, the staff is really friendly, but there is a southern sense of urgency about service. Someone had removed the shower curtain from my room - I noticed that when i arrived. It took 2 phone calls... More
