Spent 3 nights here for professional meeting. Was first trip to Crescent City and this was an amazing place. It was way over my budget, but the location ( SuperDome adjacent) and opulence of the hotel nearly justify it. The service by employees was above and beyond. The quality of food and beauty of everything was totally impressive. The location... More

I stayed at the Hyatt Regency for two nights while in town for a wedding. As a former resident of NOLA, I vividly remember the image of the hotel with its windows blown out in the days following Hurricane Katrina. I looked forward to seeing the new hotel after making the booking through Hotwire. Initially I was not thrilled about... More

First of all, this wasn't our choice hotel for nola (because of location) but we spent our last night there before boarding the American Queen steamboat because it was part of the package. We (four adults) arrived by taxi and unloaded with 6 pieces of luggage. No doorman, no bellman. Hard to believe, for a Hyatt. We took our luggage to... More

I stayed in this hotel for a convention. The location is away from the French Quarter but plenty of taxis are available ($10) or the streetcar stops outside(hint if you are over 65 with ID you can ride for 40c). This is a vast hotel clearly targeted at the convention market. Though the room rates were low (bulk rate) everything... More

I was apprehensive about staying here after reading some of the reviews about the condition of the rooms, the size of the hotel, and the distance away from the French Quarter. Luckily all those apprehensions were misguided. My room (2030) was a spacious corner room with a large, walk-in closet/dressing room with frosted windows. Everything in the room seemed new... More

This has been one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had to endure. I will never stay at this hotel again. The elevators are crazy. You have to take TWO elevators to get to your hotel room .... IF they actually give you a room with a bed and IF your key card works each time .... Otherwise... More

Located far from city main attractions this hotel should be never an option in town. Facilities are good, confortable and beautifull but the service is horrible. My room remained two days without being cleaned and the guest service number written o the phone was never responded whenever repeated called. Terrible. Restaurants and bars are what this hotel has in best.

The hotel itself was very nice. The restraunts inside the hotel especially the sports bar needs more and better trained staff. The actual hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. One guy spent ten minutes trying to find me a rubber band. The problem with the place is that its too far from french quarter, casino, and st charles streetcar. A... More
