This is a great property. The beds are comfortable, the staff is fantastic, the food is great. The property is a 5 minute cab ride from bourbon street. Close enough to make the trip, but far enough away that it's not too loud and crazy. It is a huge property, but they do it well so you don't feel lost... More

As many people have noted, this hotel is huge almost a little town. As well as well as the main block, there is an additional North Tower, with 11-12 floors (not entirely sure, the numbering was odd). The pool is in the North Tower, it's great, heated outdoor, disabled access, with lots of lounging areas. The fitness area is also... More

The staff is excellent. I love the location. The hotel is in the business district away from bustle of the Quarter. In a town filled with great hotels, I think this is the best. I felt I was in a quaint small hotel.

The hotel is very big and nice. The elevators are very confusing and dont let there be a big crowd getting on the elevators and it will take 10 minutes or more just to the right elevator door. When you scan your room key it can tell you one elevator to get on, but about a minute later it could... More

This is an enormous hotel - it takes 5 minutes to walk from the door to the elevator via two escalators. There are some good things about it - the rooms are very comfortable, the concierges are excellent and it's really not a bad place to stay. However there are some serious drawbacks . Being so large, it attracts all... More

I came to New Orleans for the weekend with my son and his friends from college. When I explained my numbers situation, Raavej (I apologize if that is spelled incorrectly) set us up in room 1822 which is a conference room with pullouts and over 1200 square feet. A 55 inch plasma, and floor to ceiling windows all the way... More

This hotel is too big and impersonal.... Staff couldn't care less!! For a conference it is ideal but for vacation forget it. It's full of spoilt youngsters rolling in at all hours out of their minds with drink . We were woken at 3am with some drunk banging all bedroom doors..... On the plus side rooms are lovely!!

I stayed at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans at the same time that a large conference was taking place in the hotel. This was my first visit to this hotel. There is no doubt about it, the Hyatt Regency NO is designed as a conference/event property. It is massive, the layout supports large gatherings of guests around hotel bars, and... More

Stayed here for a conference. Room was very nicely appointed and bed extremely comfortable. I had a king which I think was an upgrade. No view which at first I was disappointed in but didn't notice much throughout the stay. The Regency club was nice-beautiful view from there- and the fitness center was very nice. Its a bit far from... More

When you can't get the elevator to the floor you want because the hotel key card assumes and programs your location based on the floor your room is on, that's really annoying. When it is a trek through a labyrinth of corridors to find your way around, that's frustrating. Finally the AC in the room appears to go into a... More
