Arrival at this hotel was after 9 PM, and attempting to self-check-in at the kiosk (don’t bother with self-check-in or self-check-out if you purchased through an “opaque” website was my experience) resulted in a message that my room wasn't ready. After queuing up for a front desk employee, I received the same notification that the room wasn't ready but was... More

This is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in and while it is big I loved the design. A really modern hotel that does a great job of paying attention to details. Like everything in New Orleans it is close enough to many of the major attractions to walk or everything is a short taxi ride away.

We had a great deal on this hotel, and aside the downers we experienced it most certainly has it's pro's as well. OK here is the story. So we first got a room we did not like, because it had no real beds (long story but they offer a great view room, triple the size and leave the beds out)... More

This has been our most recent hotel of choice. Great amenities and good food, it's also one of the most staff friendly places we've ever stayed. Starbucks, bars, restaurants, and plenty of places to people watch. Hi tech elevators with atrium or Superdome views. Rooms are always clean and spacious. Both times we've stayed, we found only showers in our... More

Stayed here recently on a Saturday night and the hotel bar was lively and fun. The hotel amenities are top notch and the overall experience was excellent. As expected for a Hyatt, everything was clean and in working order. The hotel is very big, so expect to have to walk a little to get around, but the staff was friendly... More

If you are in town for a game at the Dome or the Arena, you cannot beat this location. If not, there are much more interesting and easier places to stage. This hotel is huge and it is quite a distance (2 floors) from reception to the elevators to the rooms. The rooms are clean and well appointed, but nothing... More

The rooms, staff, housekeeping, and facilities are top-notch. The convenience factor of having a Starbucks and several restaurants on the bottom floors is also a nice touch. If you're not worried about having a centrally located hotel for the French Quarter / Marigny, it's an amazing value. My only gripe is that you get nickled and dimed on the internet... More

Great service, open, modern decor, plan on walking cuz the place is huge. Stayed on the 27th floor with a mod view overlooking NO. Room was moderately sized but clean and modern with big TV, fridge, safe. Upgraded to the Regency room and got bunch of free coupons for hotel food and services, free WiFi (made the money back on... I've stayed here about five separate times and this is my favorite hotel in New Orleans. I can't really tell you why. I suppose this is because the choices for New Orleans hotels are not all that attractive. I've stayed at a few (Lowes, Sheraton, Downtown Marriott) of them but will always return here if the price is right. Hotel:... More

Though confusing to navigate at first, staying in this hotel for a 4-day conference has gotten me and my colleagues used to the floor plan of this modern building. The place had ample space for a large conference and the facilities were good. Our room was clean, the beds so-so.. and when I would wake up in the middle of... More
