We had a five night long stay here due to a business convention. Pros: great club lounge area views. It was a beautiful space to sit and enjoy. Alcoholic beverages however were not included, but snacks and non-alcoholic beverages were. The service in there was excellent. Rooms were spacious and the view was nice. Common restaurant areas were fun and... More

My stay at the Recency was a great experience. I traveled there for a business conference and they were very prepared to handle a large conference. The reception area was inviting with friendly staff. The hotel is larger than first appears. I loved the Glass Elevators. You swipe your key and it automatically takes you to your floor without having... More

I stayed here, despite the location in the central business district, because they had an amazing deal that I found through a booking website. It's a solid 20 minute walk to the French quarter-- not great location for tourists. Great for people going to a Saints game though. The Good: The room was nice, and quiet (great for sleeping in... A beautiful place with excellent service. We also ate at the hotel restaurant and our burgers were delicious. After dinner we took a brief walk to Superdome to the game. The staff is very attentive and all needs can be met. On the streetcar line and accessible to everything.

Man, when you walk it, the lobby is GORGEOUS!!! The valet was prompt, the front desk was very courteous, and the bellman was friendly and helpful. A very huge place that you can easily get lost in. Bars with personal flat screens, nice restaurants, good view of the Superdome with you ride the elevator, an even better view when you... More

I fell in love with this hotel. It was so technically advance, amazing rooms, amazing smell 24/7 (especially when NOLA smells horrible) is nice coming in to a nice smell. I got it at a really good price, was worth it. It is a lil distant from French Quarter but was no problem for us, we walked and was nice... More

Very Upscale Hotel. Has Everything you need and more in this one hotel alone. Would be a nice hotel to hold any event at especially a prom. We got a less pricey hotel room but I tell you for the price we paid I would be shocked to find any place better for the money. Definitely booking my next stay... More

I recently visited this hotel on a whistle stop tour of the USA, stayed here for 3 nights. It was the best hotel we stayed in, it is almost as big as most of the Vegas ones. The rooms are immaculately cleaned every day. Large TV. There was also a long list of things you could have free of charge,... More
