Hotel has great location and convenient parking along with good breakfast food. Wonderful if you like a dated New Orleans facility, but if you like modern amenities go elsewhere. Place is in dire need of updating and rooms should have brighter lighting. Bathrooms are especially in need of refurbishing and plumbing is extremely slow. Pool is small with shabby furniture.... Stayed here many times. Not for patrons who want exquisite, fancy, expensive. Excellent location. Nice courtyard with pool. Delightful staff. 3 to 6 happy hour. Great prices for rooms. Rooms could use update but are comfortable and clean. Ask for courtyard room. We will continue staying here. Recommend highly.

My finance and I came to celebrate the excitement about our new engagement and shared the wonderful news with the manager of the hotel when we checked it. They immediately upgraded our accommodations to a suite that was fit for a king. The suite was well equipped with antiques and an attention to detail. The AC was perfect, shower had... More

Travelling for 6 weeks, requiring 4 rooms each night, this was more than double our usual expense for accommodation. BUT it was Worth every $ we spent. A lovely old building in the French quarter, within easy walking distance of many tourist spots, restaurants and cafes. The rooms are large, very comfortably set out, good beds and a shower with... Fantastic location in French Quarter close enough to Bourbon Street without all the noise of Bourbon Street. Walking distance to jazz bars on Frenchman street and shopping on Royal. Classic decor, swimming pool and restaurant. For a beginner in NOLA a great place to start falling in love with the City.

Great location in the back of the FQ, but still close enough to walk anywhere. Rebecca hooked us up with the Honeymoon Suite on the 3rd floor. Comfortable king size bed, TV in both rooms, full size fridge too. It was too hot to enjoy the private balcony, but the room was nice and quiet at night. The service was... More

There were some really good things and some bad things. Overall not too bad. It was expensive but that may have been the 4th July weekend we were there. The staff were good (one was a bit moody but overall good). The location is good to get away from the central Bourbon St madness but close enough to get in... More

Had the pleasure of staying at this Bed and Breakfast during the Essence Festival. July 2nd thru the 7th along with 15 of my friends. Our rooms and suites were great and the service was the best. The lobby staff welcomed us with open arms. Jennifer who worked the bar as well as being our waitress, was the sweetest most... More

I have traveled to New Orleans annually since the mid 90's. I have stayed at the Provincial and Le Richelieu. There is no other location like Le Richelieu. You are family at this 84 room boutique hotel with a magnificent and incredulous history. Imagine walking in and getting hugs from the staff and a "Hey Jacquie"! I wouldn't dream of... More

The hotel was beautiful, the staff was attentive in every way, the room was comfortable, all this making our trip so much more enjoyable. I want to especially thank Jennifer for her help with the baby at breakfast. Housekeeping staff was amazing. Everything you could want, especially the little things. We will definitely be back.
