I stayed in this hotel last september when i visited new orleans with my mother. The hotel offers a great position in the french quarter, very close to all the fun things you can do in the area. The staff was great, the food was good and the rooms were clean and tidy. I sincerely recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to... More

This was our second stay at this hotel. This is a really nice place with old world charm. The French Quarter in the month of May was a great time to visit. The weather was as great as the food. We visited from Sunday through Wednesday the weekend of Memorial Day. Most of the crowds were gone by Monday afternoon... More

We booked this hotel because of it's location and trip advisor reviews and we were not disappointed. It was within walking distance of the French Market, Jackson Square and Bourbon Street, as well as many great restaurants, clubs and tourist attractions. The hotel staff took care of us like family, helping us with scheduling tours and choosing restaurants. Although it... More

My husband and I stayed here for two nights. The first night was in the famous Paul McCartney suite. It was absolutely beautiful. Some might call it dated, but I wouldn't have it any other way. It had a living area and a little kitchenette. The bathroom was a tad small, but I might have peed and showered where a... More

Beautiful old hotel way in the far end of the Quarter amongst the residential area, but still only two blocks away from the French Market. Very quiet neighborhood. Not huge room, but wide plank flooring, wood ceiling, nice bed, and big bathroom. AC was noisy and they fixed immediately upon our complaint. Good breakfast and lunch, and bar, in rooms... More

The room was not ready until 3pm but the receptionist recommended a good eating place for lunch. The room was large as was the bathroom. It was clean and towels changed regularly. The bedroom had a charming terrace overlooking a relatively quiet street; but a really good view over other olde worlde properties. There is a small swimming 'dipping' pool... More

This is a beautiful property, but needs some updating. The shower in the bathroom is difficult to adjust. Weak water pressure, the shower head and the sink drain very rusty. The wifi in the room did not work any of our five day stay. I reported it the first day and every day thereafter.,the first day, the woman at the desk... More

At first we were put off by the slightly longer walk to the happening bits of the French Quarter. Then we learned to love our little 'hood in the quiet bit of the Quarter and the wonderful restaurants and coffee shop nearby. The hotel is well kept and mostly clean (we own a B&B so our standards are pretty high).... More

Le Richelieu located in the French Quarter of New Orleans was a great find. It gave you old world charm and a great, convenient location. You could easily walk to the French Market and many good restaurants, as well as to Jackson Square. About two streets off Burban St, so you did not get the noise in the evening. Rooms... More

We stayed here May 15-17, 2015. The hotel is an older hotel in the Quarter, so old that you had an actual key to the room and not a key card. Our room was #300, which is right off the elevator, so do expect some noise when people come back from partying on Bourbon. The room was clean, and it... More
