We have stayed here several times and Everytime it's amazing. The staff is what makes it so amazing. Everyone working here has always been very nice and very respectful of you and your property. The rooms are very clean, the whole property is very clean and inviting. I recommend this hotel highly.

We were amazed that this old historic building could be so comfortable. This small hotel is built with a private center courtyard and a pool (with pool towels by the hotel), so you don't see the street. The room was spacious and bed comfy. The bathrooms are "old-school", but updated while preserving it' charm (even a hairdryer). The air conditioner... More

We visited the French Quarter on June 19-22 and stayed at the Le Richelieu. Le Richelieu has the most amazing staff! Everyone that works at this hotel was accommodating, helpful and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Most of the staff at this hotel has been working there for over 20+ years! Excellent food! The... More

Great location, mostly nice rooms & unexpectedly - self park is on site. Rare in New Orleans. Convenient walking distance to local attraction. A great place to stay when in town. Yes, an older property, slack back & enjoy.

This smaller hotel located on the far east end of the French Quarter was perfect for our stay. Everyone was cordial and helpful. Checkin/check out quick and easy. We found the beds to be comfortable. Quiet location..a good walk to Bourbon St., but this puts you away from noise and hussle-bustle. We enjoyed the pool and courtyard, and many famous... More

Came to Le Richelieu after staying at the Hilton Riverside. Really different types of hotels. I felt Le Richelieu was more like a Bed n Breakfast or a guest house. After I made the mental adjustment I could see and feel ambience of the place and it was nice. The place is older and that can't be changed and it... More

I booked this hotel because of the reviews on Trip Advisor. We found inconsistencies in our stay. Although I requested a high floor, was given a second floor, but the desk said it had a terrace. This terrace was a long balcony with a minimum of table and chairs. I pulled one chair towards our doors and did call and... More

I had stayed at the Richelieu a few years ago and decided to return there for this recent trip. The location is great as far as I am concerned, very close to the French Market, close to Frenchmen St. and Jackson Square. We walked everywhere (including the WW2 museum) except the Garden District. The rooms are typical for an average... More

My husband and I plus another couple stayed here in April and had a wonderful experience. It is centrally located which is positive and the front desk clerks were friendly. Our room had two doubles with a balcony which was a plus! I enjoyed being able to step outside whenever I liked. Our room was quiet as well. We will... More

We stayed in this hotels for three nights. It is in the French quarter and I know that many visitors try to avoid the French quarter when they arrange for a hotel in New Orleans. However, this hotel is located in the fringe of the quarter in a quiet location, but still within walking distance to Jackson Square and other... More
