Great locations on one edge of the French Quarter which allows for quiet but easy walking distance to everything in the French Quarter. We were on the first floor facing the courtyard and the room appeared to be a converted one bedroom apartment. The accommodations are old but very clean and comfortable. There is a parking lot of for the... More

I believe the staff is what makes this hotel great. Always very helpful. French doors to the balcony over looking the court yard. The cafe that is located in the hotel is underrated , the food is exceptional. I stayed in Suite 225 from 2/12-2/17 during Mardi gras. 3 blocks from train , 2 blocks from french market , 3... More

I took my boyfriend for a belated 40th birthday trip to New Orleans for his first time. This was the perfect hotel. Nice, quiet location, great staff and room. We could walk to everything but come back to the mellow neighborhood. We just loved it.

This beautiful hotel is in the French Quarter but in a more quiet area ..away from the maddening crowd. The service & the people who serve you are the best. You have a small restaurant downstairs who serve regular breakfast & lunch...then a small bar also. There is a beautiful outdoor pool at your disposal. They have their own parking... More

We just spent a whole week here, the first few days being during Mardi Gras. The hotel's location is excellent, at the end of the French Quarter. Our suite at the back of the hotel was ready when we arrived about 11.00am on Saturday morning. It was very spacious suite with a comfy bed, but the bathroom was very tired.... More

We stayed here for 5 nights over Mardi Gras 2015 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, from the receptionists to the cleaners! The receptionists were kind enough to ring around to make us reservations for brunch. The location was also excellent; it was within walking distance of numerous restaurants, bars and shops. Jackson square... More

I think they confused "Southern Charm" with old and outdated. Rust around the drains, leaky faucet in tub, basic cable, no coffee maker or microwave in room, no thermostat to adjust air; overall system for the whole floor. Only thing complimentary was the coffee. There was even a big crack in the wall above my mom's door. Room color and... More

We stood here February 12-16..our room was ready early which was great, the location was perfect..one block from Royal street..one block from Decatur..two blocks from French market and trolley..three blocks from Frenchmen street and two blocks from Bourbon Street. The staff was very helpful & polite. The bar was great after a long day out and the breakfast was really... More

Le Richelieu Hotel is a wonderful remnant of old time New Orleans elegance. On the east end of the French Quarter, it's within easy walking distance to the more active area of Jackson Square and the attendant shops and restaurants. The rooms are lovely and the rates are reasonable. We are planning on staying here again after the Jazz Fest... More

This is our 3rd time staying at Le Richilieu in the French Quarter. It's a great place to stay while visiting New Orleans. Location is great. It's within walking distance of all of the attractions and on the quiet end of the French Quarter. Jazz clubs are just around the corner and it's 2 blocks from the Fresh Market. Parking... More
