We just spent 4 nights at Le Richelieu. The first King Room given to us was room 116 - right next to the door leading to the parking lot. We rejected it and the front desk personnel worked to get us into another room. We were given Room 324 - nicer location, except that it was right above the kitchen... More

This hotel was far enough from the main action yet close enough to easily walk anywhere in the French Quarter. Plus the parking and the ability to take the car out as we wished was a plus. Our first floor room was big, had a quaint kitchenette with a sink and fridge. The 1970s oven/stove unit was disabled but just... More

Stay of two weeks and couldn't have been more pleased with the room (with balcony). All staff were great; specifically, the front desk employees were friendly and incredibly helpful. Was very pleased at how quiet the neighborhood was despite being so close to the action.

We loved this hotel! Very authentic French Quarter, decor and style, the staff were warm and welcoming and very helpful. It is in the quiet section, which was nice but easy walking distance to the hustle and bustle and close to Frenchmen St.

Attractively decorated and well located hotel. Very helpful staff....they even turned my mattress around when I asked. Mattresses may be a problem. Also the A/C blowing right into my face with no apparent way to turn it off but we covered it up. There was no safe in the room so I locked one of the suitcases. We used the... More

The rooms do not have individual thermostats! !! All the room temperatures are controlled by one unit. They were literally cooking us!!!!!!!!! Luckily at night it was freezing outside so we could open the windows to get some relief. When we complained to front desk they just told us to close the vent and open a window. For the price... Nice hotel in French Quarter. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Bartender makes one of the best bloody Marys! Problems include no coffee pots in rooms and no actual controls of room temperature. Recommend stay on fourth floor so can open windows.

Loved staying here last weekend. Perfect location! You are right there in the French Quarter, but it is on a quiet street. Had breakfast in the cute bar area. I had delicious banana crepes. Lots of celebrities, including Paul McCartney, have stayed here over the years. Friendly and helpful staff. We would def stay here again when we visit New... More

As the saying goes "location is everything". First trip to New Orleans and took my 21-year old son so wanted full access to the heart of the French Quarter. However, while much of the FQ never sleeps, both my son and I wanted to and it was my son that said this is the perfect location. 5 minute walk to... More

What a great location, within walking distance of Jackson Square! Very comfortable (king) bed, didn't miss the usual coffee-maker in the room since there was delicious coffee downstairs. Nice conversations during happy hour that even included the 90-year-old owner, who was so sweet! The staff there seem very loyal to the owner and dedicated to excellent service. We will definitely...
