Some staff are great and some have no clue and need training on customer service skills. Never got two items I requested at check in. Today the air is not working. No window in the room so if you have any issues with anxiety or panic this is not a good hotel for you. There are plenty of other hotels... More

Because of some incompetent booking at book.com (lost previous reservations at our other hotel) we found ourselves having to accept a room at the Royal St Charles 'boutique' hotel in New Orleans. There is nothing particularly 'bad' about this property, however, it just wasn't what we were looking for. The room was described at a 'queen room' but it was... More

I seldom take time to write reviews but since I traevl so much for work and stay at so many hotels I had to write a good review for this hotel. It was clean, comfortable, and convenient! The staff was friendly. We arrived at 11:30am after driving for 13 hours from North Carolina and they had a room ready for... More

When we arrived to the hotel we were greeted by the most cheerful front desk agent,Chelsea, she was very pleasant and helpful while checking in for our first time at the Royal St. Charles. The lobby had a GREAT stylish deco which seemed very inviting from the multiple sitting areas to the convienent coffee lounge,PJ's. After a long flight I was... More

We just returned from a 3 night stay at the Royal St. Charles. We were greated by friendly staff upon check in & staff was very helpful with directions to areas that we wanted to visit. The lobby is contemporary art deco, which we enjoyed. We were surprisingly upgraded to a Jr. Suite which had a seperate sitting area with... More

If you don't need a closet, but location is important than this hotel might work well for you. If this would have been a fun, leisure trip I wouldn't have missed the closet. There are rooms that do not have external windows, so if you need to see the street, then make sure you ask if your room has a... More

This hotel is in a great location to bourbon street and alot of little shops. We went here for New Year's Eve, first they gave us a king room not a double and when we tried to change it they would not accommodate, the rooms are tiny for the amount of money we paid to stay here, the customer service... The streetcar is just outside the hotel which was nice saver took it to the zoo. Chelsey at the front desk very pleasant and helpful. She spoke to us each time she... More

I had booked this hotel for a one night stay on March 3, 2013 in mid-January. We had just got off a cruise and wanted someplace decent to stay at a good price. We arrived around 8:30am as they had told us we could pre-register and store our luggage. When we arrived the desk clerk who was friendly informed us... More
