My husband and I stayed at The Royal St. Charles hotel located on St. Charles St. The location was perfect as we could pretty much walk to every destination. The cable car also runs directly past this property. The property is old, however the rooms/suites have been updated. The lobby is very colorful and contemporary. They also have free WiFi.... More

This was our first trip to NOLA. We had no idea what to expect of our hotel accept the information provided on the internet. The room was AMAZING. Corner room with wrap around windows with a view of the French Quarter. Modern décor. The room could be noisy during peak times. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We were there... More

Ok so maybe New Orleans is just an old town with a lot of old hotels and not much new investment, so I shouldn't expect a truly top notch hotel experience. I went to NO for a conference and I could hardly book a hotel room even 2 months prior to the trip. But I found one remaining room at... More

Clean, small room..just right for 2. Thin walls so bring ear plugs or drink plenty of alcohol so noises won't bother you! I will book again, can't beat the location. Walked everywhere. Located on Mardi Gra parade route.

The hotel sits on a busy corner. Very litte or no sound proofing to rooms. Could hear all noises from the outside as though the windows were wide open. Booked room online, cancelled for "some reason" unknown to desk clerk. Should my reservation; but couldn't find it, so had to rebook at the new cost which was $300 more!

Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Great location, a stones throw from the French Quarter. Room wasn't the largest but it was clean and modern. Would definitely stay again. Harrah's Casino is three blocks away.

Hotel is very nice, has a boutique feel to it. Rooms are on the smaller side but we didn't come to New Orleans to sit in the room. Location is amazing. Block away from French Quarters. All Mardi Gras parades pass the hotel. Very friendly atmosphere.

It was our first time staying here and the room was very clean and quiet and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. Located in the French Quarter and just one block away from Burbon Street. There is a Starbucks on the corner.

Got this hotel on a priceline bid, so i did not realize about the resort fee until i checked in. $9.95 a day - I asked for what, just curious since this property does not qualify as a "resort". The front desk told me the the 3 wonderful benefits for my $30. 1) use of the health club - a... More

Be aware, there is a $10 fee per night added to the bill. Our room was $150+$10 per night. Front desk: we had minimal interaction with the staff but Amanda was very friendly. The rest of the staff greeted us as we walked past. There was always someone at the desk, which was reassuring. Our room was small and had... More
