Spent a friday and a saturday night there. Lobby was clean & quiet, desk staff prompt. From the car to the room in <10 minutes, and that counted the unloading of said car. PJ's was the coffee shop in the lobby, more on them later. Elevator matched lobby. I got off the elevator and i saw one broken light fixture...

The hotel itself is lovely, and it is in a great location, but I would never stay there again based on customer service alone. It all started with a booking problem at the New Orleans Boutique Hotels website. I called several times during business hours only to get a "please call during business hours or leave a message" recording. Repeated...

Purchased a room on Hotwire and was given this hotel. I read the reviews on this website and was not expecting much. We had a late check and nice greeting from the valet and front desk. Got to our room and it was very nice on the 2nd floor. It had a balcony which was very nice. The bed was...

We booked this hotel for a 4-day visit based on the fact that it calls itself a "boutique hotel". We booked a "Superior 1 Queen-1 Queen Bed-Wifi-Iron-Handmadefurniture-Coffee Maker-Safe-Hairdryer" room through Priceline. What we got was clearly an INFERIOR DOUBLE with cheap furniture. Our room was nothing like the hotel's website described. When we asked about it, we were told there...

We booked this hotel through hotwire's secret hotels. For the price the room was perfect. Small room but clean and the hotel offered valet parking, in room safe, in room coffee, & wifi(for a mandatory daily charge). Would stay here again if the price was right.

Stayed here recently. Initially selected this hotel based on price and location and wish I hadn't. The rooms were clean, but keeping them clean throughout a 4 day stay was difficult as the sign on the door requesting maid services was ignored repeatedly. We also had a horrible problem with "losing" things, a fleece jacket, an i-pod, and toiletries went...

Very nice clean hotel, our room was large with 2 beds and nice big bathroom. The parking attendants could use some geritol, takes a while to get your car, the receptionist were nice.

Stayed at the Royal Saint Charles at end of December, we stayed there because it was cheap compared to other hotels and its close to the French Quater, about a block away, rooms are not the cleanest and very small. But when you are in New Orleans you dont spend alot of time i your room, just a place to...

Receptionist didn't look me in the eye once while I was checking in - she was much more interested in checking her Facebook on her phone - Ignored me for a full minute or two while she conducted her social life!!!!
Room was dingy and depressing and we had to call maintenance to clear the blocked toilet - lovely!! He...
