This is a great stay! Granted, I did not have to worry about the cost considering that my company was paying for it. However, I would definitely return to the hotel and stay on a leisure trip. The staff was very acccomodating and the rooms were spacious and big. The only "nit" that I had was that it took the... more

We loved most things about this hotel, which is in the 1920s Pere Marquette building in the CBD. It's a historic building, but the design has that sleek, hip feel that Renaissance seems to be striving for. We liked being in these surroundings, and we liked the people who work here. ROOMS: They were a bit small, but perfectly nice... more

I stayed at Pere Marquette for 5 days, and the stay was perfect. The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to the French Quarter as well as many resturants, and shopping. The hotel was very clean and the staff was awsome. I was able to get the cities free wifi in my room so I never had to... more

Stayed here with 2 friends for a long weekend. Got a great rate through AAA. first impressions- the front of the hotel doesn't look as nice as it does in the picture, and it has an entrance to the parking garage right next door. However, inside is a much nicer spot- the bar/lounge is right off the lobby and has... more

Third and last stop on our Music City Marti Gras Tour!! Our stay was 3 nights. We are Marriott members and are always upgraded, but once again, they had us booked on the preferred level in a KING room instead of two beds! This was the third time on the same trip. Because of that, we were put on a... more

My husband, 3 year old son and I stayed here the first weekend of Mardi Gras, which also happened to be Valentines Day Weekend. As a former local, I wasn't put off by the location of the entrance or the fact that we'd be 1 block from the parade route. The first weekend is pretty tame in comparison with the... more

I stayed at the RPM for 4 nights. I was originally at the Marriott on Canal but wasn't too pleased there. I walked over the RPM, asked to be shown their rooms, and they gladly switched me over to their property that moment with no problem (since they're both technically Marriott). I loved this hotel. Decor and staff were great.... more

My wife and I took a few days to spend Valentine's in New Orleans. We did not realize a lot of the Mardis Gras activities started a few weeks earlier than "Fat Tuesday". Oh well, New Orleans is still a wonderful place for a short stay as the restaurants are excellent and we really enjoyed the expanded WWII Museum, We... more

My boyfriend and I made a reservation for Valentine's Day one month in advance. When we got to the hotel the front desk agent told us that we were being "walked" to another hotel because the hotel was oversold. When I asked to speak to a manager, the manager told us that there was nothing she could do and that... more

I booked this hotel though priceline and got an excellent rate of $55/night. The room and bathroom were spacious, the beds were comfortable, had a great view, and the staff were very nice. The hotel is two blocks away from the French Quarter and about a 10-15 minute walk to Harrah's, for those of you who want to do some... more
