I had an opportunity to stay at the RPMH last week for a conference. The location of the hotel was very convenient to the French Quarter and restaurants/shops on Canal Street. The images on the website weighed heavy in my decision to select this hotel. The lobby was immaculate. Not very crowded at all and everything looked sharp. There was... more

I recently stayed at the Pere Marquette for 3 nights in May. We had a mix of older and younger travelers (4 women) and the hotel met all of our expectations. The rooms are spacious, clean, and the beds are extremely comfortable! The rooms/bathroom are something that you would not expect for such a low price, they were fantastic! The... more

Let me honest. I got this hotel through Priceline name your own price. It's considered a 4* in the Downtown region. Its only 2 blocks Bourbon Street, but its super quiet. So the location is ideal. I paid a very low price for the hotel room. I have stayed in NOLA many times and paid at least two times the... more

We were very impressed with this caliber of hotel for the price. Easy walking to all the action, great check-in/check-out experience. We didn't experience any problems with service at any time. Very clean. Great, modern decor, beautiful bar and lobby area. Comfortable bed. Only complaint was the set-up of the room. The way the bathroom door opened up across from... more

I just completed a five-night stay at this hotel and I'd say it has a great location and is perfectly acceptable, but whether or not you stay here should be based upon the room rate offered. I had a rate of under $75/night making it well worth it. Location - This is really an ideal location for a couple of... more

Arrived at hotel at just after 9am after a very early morning flight from Houston. The reception were helpful and immediately allocated a 5th floor room overlooking the street. The porter/bellhops were very helpful with the extended amount of luggage - as well as giving advice and information, especially regarding safety and security during the festival. The room allocated was... more

The Renaissance Pere Marquette is an ideal choice for New Orleans accommodations. The hotel is located in the Central Business District, only one and a half blocks from the French Quarter. The spot provides a quiet environment away from the hustle and bustle of Bourbon Street, but also gives the convenience of many restaurants, shops, bars, etc. all within walking... more

Check in was challenging. After three attempts, I was able to get into a room. The front desk staff were great with the exception of the night security person. Someone was having a party in the room next door a little past midnight. I called the desk to ask if they could ask them to be quiet. I called three... more

We stayed at the Renaissance Pere Marquette Hotel from April 14-18, paying $100/night ($20 food/beverage credit included) for the first 3 nights and using points for the last night. I've stayed at a Renaissance before in Chicago, so I was expecting a little bit more. The Pere Marquette lobby was much smaller than the one in Chciago, but overall, it... more
