I stayed one night at this hotel because of good reviews. I felt I slept at a ancient room in my great great grand mom's home, its smell is like an old home but it's clean. the AC was noisy, its bath tub is full of stain. Anyway this hotel is very different.you can't find the same one in other... More

The Olde Town Inn is very reasonably priced if you are coming into New Orleans for a long weekend. It is within a 15 min walk of the French Market and the French Quarter is next to that area. However, I only recommend walking to and from the Olde Town Inn during the day, take a taxi at night. The... More

The Olde Town Inn is a charming hybrid between a hotel and a B&B. Yet it is neither. If you are visiting New Orleans and want to return to an antiseptic (bon chance) chain hotel room each night, this not for you. If you expect a lot of intensive interaction with the owners and their surrogate child-dog around the breakfast... More

Room smelled like smoke, from guest in adjoining room smoking in a non smoking room. Would have thought the management would have made some kind of adjustment, all he did was spray deodorizer in the room. And when we got home and checked the bill they had charged the credit card the wrong amount Will not stay there again

good value for the money. Phillip was a great host. Very helpful to all the visitors. Took care of every little problem right away. The place is a little ways from the French Quarter, but it is quiet and away from all the noise.

My wife and I have stayed at the Olde Town Inn two years running for Jazz Fest and we just love it. The rooms vary in size and cost, so they can accommodate a range of budgets. The staff are friendly and truly seem to care about their guests. We were made to feel like family. One of my favorite... More

Stayed here during the French Quarter Festival. In all honesty, I would not have paid as much as we did for this hotel as the rooms are dated as are bathrooms, I would probably have paid a bit less. If you want luxury this is not that kind of hotel but I found it beautiful in its unique way. The... More

Fantastic value for money. Breakfast included, helpful staff, free Internet and printing so you can sort things like your boarding pass. Staff helped with printing docs and we could leave bags on checkout until we needed them. We stayed 3 nights in room 31 – en suite studio with loads of room and a big terrace outside. Breakfast was better... More

We arrived to find the Olde Town Inn a lovely old hotel, full of charm and character. Our room was a suite and had it's own balcony which overlooked the quiet street below. There was always plenty of hot water and the cold water was nice and cold. The beds were comfortable and clean. Our room was cleaned well and... More

But is is a contender. Chipped, thrift store quality furniture, no cold water for three days, and threadbare bathroom mats, to say nothing of what appeared to be discolored ceilings and chipped paint throughout. Management refused to allow a room change, even though we stayed long enough to see many rooms become available to new occupants. Complimentary breakfast consisted of... More
