This was such a cute little place. The rooms were a little small but very cozy. They had a very nice courtyard just outside the rooms with tables and chairs. Staff was friendly and offered sight seeing suggestions. It was very close to the tourist attractions. Parking is on the street-but it's free.

This is the best hotel in town. Just at the quiet side of the French Quarter, nice interior, classic style, traditional court, hospitable employees, and ultra silent airco. Of course, the hotel has some flaws, but they are, so to say, forgivable. The wifi does not work always and everywhere. No hot water one night. So what, stay cool, we... More

Dear Stefan L: Glad to see that you apparently made it home. I trust that you're catching up and that your business trip was profitable! Also thrilled the you guys "survived" the Swamp Tour. It was a pleasure meeting you, perhaps we will have an opportunity to accommodate you once again in the future. Sincerely. Jacques Boutte. GM More

There were many small, but very good restaurants near by, as well as art galleries, used book stores, a food coop and wine bars. The rooms were small but newly renovated. When I checked in my floor was dirty, I asked for a broom to sweep it out, but they immediately put me in a new - bigger room. There... More

Dear ZoePhotos: Thank you so much! I appreciate the time taken to submit such an awesome review. I love to learn that you guys actually explore the immediate area. The Faubourg Marigney/Bywater Neighborhoods have a lot to often; very eclectic to say the least! Please give us a call should your travels bring you back into the New Orleans area.... More

It was much bigger tham it appeared. Rooms have high ceilings and hardwood flooring. Small but cute and with a cute patio breakfast nook. It was a very pleasant surprise and very quiet considering how close it it to the night life on Bourbon. Highly recommend it. Inexpensive too!

- About the hotel: The hotel was great! very picturesque, wood floor, and has a nice New Orleans look on it. Is very well kept, with some minor scratches here and there, but they don't interfere with comfort. 100% Recommended for adventurers and backpackers. - About the staff: Friendly staff, helped a lot with value information. We arrived too early... More

This was a great place and reasonably priced to stay! Off the beaten place but close enough to walk to NOLA attractions. It is a neighborhood inn, so you will be intermingleing with the locals. I've read the previous reviews and they do not do the Olde Town Inn justice. The room my wife and I stayed in had been... More

I really enjoyed this place! The room we stayed in was very nice and the staff was very helpful. Overall very clean! I liked that it was walking distance from Frenchman and the French Quarter. Also the Who Dat cafe near by was very delicious for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! However it was in a part of town that I... More

I will say that this is not in the French quarters and is a few blocks walk away. My brother and I found this acceptable for our stay and I was able to park my car on the street for free. The rooms are dated and decorated in a quaint style that makes this place reminiscent of an old family... More

Dear Rob A: Thank You very much for taking the time to write such an informative review. It seems that other than the couple of issues that you brought forth, your stay with us went well. Very nice. I liked the old building and the feel if the place. The staff was helpful. It kind of felt like stepping back in time to another era. I kind of imagined staying in the Wild West of the 1880's.

I stayed here with a group tour that I booked to travel across the country. This hotel was included so it wasn't through choice but it was decent. I was in what was described as a 'dorm style' room, but it turned out to be two double beds in separate parts of the room, closed off via a curtain... Massive... More
