Huge bedrooms with equally big bed and a lot of character. Breakfast is relaxing on the morning with cereal, waffles and bagels available. I'd stay there again. Easy walking distance into the French quarter to Frenchman street for the Jazz.

This place is a mixed bag, mostly good. The location and price are great... a few block over from the north end Frenchman and the French Quarter, and we walked just about everywhere we wanted to go from here. The room was small but comfortable, great A/C, the staff friendly, and the old furniture added to the rustic charm. The... More

We stayed here for 2 nights last week as part of an US road trip, so on a budget. We are a family of 3, so had a suite. This was two king sized beds, one in a separate room through an arch. Own bath/shower, plenty of towels and toiletries. There was a fridge and microwave as well. Room lovely... More

I love this place. I was sad to hear that they got rid of the laundry room, which was a major perq, but glad to hear they had remodeled. You can't beat the price, and it's staggering distance from Frenchmen Street, so no need to worry about driving to hear music and drink. I love chatting with the clerk on... More

I found this a really pleasant place to stay while in New Orleans for a week or so. I was a little taken aback by the style of the lobby, which looks absolutely nothing like a modern hotel. I was a little concerned, truth be told. But once I settled into my room and took in my surroundings, my mood... More

Here is the best to worst in order: Nice welcoming staff Clean room Below average breakfast (even at the price) Terrible internet No parking It is located two blocks from so happening streets of the French qtr, so that helps, if you are looking for that. This hotel has the potential to be outstanding, for it quaint feel and location,... More

By first impression, the room is ok, but then we discovered the sheets were dirty, there were hairs and dirty spots on the walls in the shower, there were long black hairs on the floor (neither of us have black hair...), the furniture and walls in general had stains and spots and the the paint was falling off the walls... This is a wonderful place, ridiculously cheap for being that close to the French Quarter. I felt like I was experiencing a beautiful part of New Orleans just by walking through the courtyard to my room.

I have been staying there since 2000,they are a quiet, clean and friendly Inn.Everyone went above and beyond the call of service.I always recommend them to friends and would never stay anywhere else in New Orleans.Short walk to Bourbon Street and if you take a cab it's less than$7.Thanks to everyone and keep up the good work!!

I'm a travel agent, so I was very excited to get to explore some new territory! I fell in love the moment I walked into the lobby. The whole atmosphere of the hotel made me feel safe. The breakfast area is outside so you can enjoy your breakfast in the sun. The courtyard is BEAUTIFUL! It's the perfect distance from... More
