I stayed at the hotel in June 2014. The staff did not take care of my sink problem that appeared to be stopped up with food until 2 days after I reported it. He seemed more concerned with his dog rather helping me with my sink and he was not pleasant at all. I felt like I was bothering him.... More

I was nervous about booking this place for our friend's weekend getaway to NOLA. When we arrived, the staff was really friendly and showed us how to get to our room, where to eat breakfast and how to use the gates. The rooms were old but charming. It had an old fashioned bathtub, air conditioner on the window that kept... More

I was expecting something different and that's exactly what I got. I stayed here last 4th of July and had a blast. The rooms are old and not what I was use to but I had a good time. I loved the staff. On the date of our arrival we were hungry and were about to go out looking for... More

First let me say I was kinda scared to stay at this place once I started reading the reviews. I decided to take a chance and stay. It was a really good choice. Although the room was a little older than I thought, it was very charming. When I got there, the room I reserved was not available, so I... More

Room rate....$99 on a Friday night. My expectations weren't very high, but it was all that was available. I was actually very pleased when the door was opened. Our room had a twin, queen & king bed. A separate living room tastefully furnished. A nice sized kitchen with all the amenities. Fridge, microwave, full size gas stove & double sinks.... More

Old, a but dusty but with very nice, local atmosphere. You can park your car for free on the street just outside. Safe, 10 minutes walk to French Quarter is a big advantage. The staff is friendly and will gladly help you in planning your visit.

Stayed here with several friends pre-Jazz fest. I'd already read plenty of reviews here and was therefore prepared. My friends think it is quaint and quirky and always stay here. I wasn't keen given the reviews, but agreed as it is their regular haunt. I paid $59 a night for a King with a single in the corner. I was... More

This is definitely not a high class hotel, but we enjoyed our stay. You need to go into this place knowing that it is over 100 years old. We didn't stay in our room much, so it was fine for us. From looking at pictures, it seems that some rooms are much nicer than others. My biggest gripe was the... More

What a great place to stay. Not your run of the mill Holiday Inn. 140 years old. An old horse stable that has been renovated into this quaint, quirky, cool motel. Has a courtyard with tables and chairs , continental breakfast outside on a covered old brick patio area The rooms all are different, and very dated, which reflects a... More

we stayed here for two nights. since only one room was left, we got upgraded from a king bed room to a suite for 8 persons! i imagine it didn't look much different from other rooms, just bigger. we had a kitchen, which was nice. the staff was very nice and helpful and it was very pleasant chatting with them....
