- About the hotel: The hotel was great! very picturesque, wood floor, and has a nice New Orleans look on it. Is very well kept, with some minor scratches here and there, but they don't interfere with comfort. 100% Recommended for adventurers and backpackers. - About the staff: Friendly staff, helped a lot with value information. We arrived too early... More

This was a great place and reasonably priced to stay! Off the beaten place but close enough to walk to NOLA attractions. It is a neighborhood inn, so you will be intermingleing with the locals. I've read the previous reviews and they do not do the Olde Town Inn justice. The room my wife and I stayed in had been... More

Dear RonEcho: Awesome Review!! Thank You so much for taking the time to let fellow travelers know that we are doing our best to become the "Go To" Inn here in the Fauborg Marigny/Bywater Neighborhood of New Orleans! I trust we will see you again soon. Don't forget, Cooler Weather, Fall Festivals and Halloween are quickly approaching. Give us a... More

I really enjoyed this place! The room we stayed in was very nice and the staff was very helpful. Overall very clean! I liked that it was walking distance from Frenchman and the French Quarter. Also the Who Dat cafe near by was very delicious for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! However it was in a part of town that I... More

I will say that this is not in the French quarters and is a few blocks walk away. My brother and I found this acceptable for our stay and I was able to park my car on the street for free. The rooms are dated and decorated in a quaint style that makes this place reminiscent of an old family... More

Dear Rob A: Thank You very much for taking the time to write such an informative review. It seems that other than the couple of issues that you brought forth, your stay with us went well. Please be assured that as you stayed with us during an ongoing renovation, we have addressed both the claw foot tubs (I hate to... More

Very nice. I liked the old building and the feel if the place. The staff was helpful. It kind of felt like stepping back in time to another era. I kind of imagined staying in the Wild West of the 1880's.

I stayed here with a group tour that I booked to travel across the country. This hotel was included so it wasn't through choice but it was decent. I was in what was described as a 'dorm style' room, but it turned out to be two double beds in separate parts of the room, closed off via a curtain... Massive... More

I recently stayed here for the weekend. The hotel staff is all very nice. The breakfast is simple. The DIY waffle station is a nice touch. The location is great. It's just far enough away yet not too far from everything. I would recommend staying here to anyone looking for something a bit different. Keep in mind... The Marriot this... More

I would echo almost everything that jkelly04 wrote. Though our room was small (two double beds) - whereas he said the room was large, so he might have been in another part of the hotel. Good price, great location! (Maybe the best in all of New Orleans?) A short walk to Frenchmen Street. Nice staff. Small and really not very... More

First of all, you need to have reasonable expectations when you stay here. The location is perfect; two blocks from Frenchmen Street, best music scene in the Big Easy, in the up-and-coming Marigny residential district, with its quirky and colorful architecture. The staff are all friendly and helpful, the rooms are large and beautifully furnished, and the courtyard (where a... More

I stayed at the hotel in June 2014. The staff did not take care of my sink problem that appeared to be stopped up with food until 2 days after I reported it. He seemed more concerned with his dog rather helping me with my sink and he was not pleasant at all. I felt like I was bothering him.... More
