Be honest.. is very good value no far away from French quarter and nearly Freinchman St.. and just one square from Phoenix. that's is very good... The Breakfast is fantastic.. on the patio and well made.. that's great... We had a Deluxe Suite ... Big.. and good quality on amenities ... The bed was OK .. no big deal..but acceptable,... More

Its a really good place to stay in NewOrleans for little money. There were just two negative points: -Wifi does not work always -you have to walk 15 min to French quarter (not a problem at daytime but at night this quarter is not the safest)

Great hotel it's a small local place though and it had its quirks but to me they were charming. There was a hole in the bathroom ceiling and the room was very small but pretty and just right for what I wanted and needed. Great location, price and new orleans feel. The room I stayed in looked nothing like the... More

The location was perfect. Right behind the Phoenix...which is where I was attending a meeting of a group I'm a member of. The room had one window unit...which did not keep the unit at the correct temperature. Overall needed painting and freshening. Price was very good. All-in-all, average experience. Cannot beat the location and price.

Such a cool hotel! Very authentic to New Orleans style. Everything was comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The lady showed us on the map the route to walk to the French Quarter which is only a 8 minute walk away. It was nice walking in because you can look at all the beautiful houses, restaurants and jazz bars.... More

This was such a cute little place. The rooms were a little small but very cozy. They had a very nice courtyard just outside the rooms with tables and chairs. Staff was friendly and offered sight seeing suggestions. It was very close to the tourist attractions. Parking is on the street-but it's free.

This is the best hotel in town. Just at the quiet side of the French Quarter, nice interior, classic style, traditional court, hospitable employees, and ultra silent airco. Of course, the hotel has some flaws, but they are, so to say, forgivable. The wifi does not work always and everywhere. No hot water one night. So what, stay cool, we... More

There were many small, but very good restaurants near by, as well as art galleries, used book stores, a food coop and wine bars. The rooms were small but newly renovated. When I checked in my floor was dirty, I asked for a broom to sweep it out, but they immediately put me in a new - bigger room. There... More

It was much bigger tham it appeared. Rooms have high ceilings and hardwood flooring. Small but cute and with a cute patio breakfast nook. It was a very pleasant surprise and very quiet considering how close it it to the night life on Bourbon. Highly recommend it. Inexpensive too!

- About the hotel: The hotel was great! very picturesque, wood floor, and has a nice New Orleans look on it. Is very well kept, with some minor scratches here and there, but they don't interfere with comfort. 100% Recommended for adventurers and backpackers. - About the staff: Friendly staff, helped a lot with value information. We arrived too early... More
