We stayed here on our visit to New Orleans to see the Sugar Bowl. In the past we have stayed closer to Bourbon Street. This was a perfect location to the Superdome, French Quarters/Bourbon Street and the Convention center/casinos. We were able to quickly and easily get everywhere. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was a nice large... More

We stayed at the Drury to bring in the New Year (2011). We were specifically looking for a nice hotel which was close to the French Quarter, and which was pet friendly. This hotel did not disappoint! The hotel was conveniently located to the French Quarter, only a short 4-block walk. You can also walk to Jackson Square and the... More

I had been to New Orleans several times prior to this last trip for New Year's Eve, but that was before I vetted all potential hotels on TripAdvisor. For this trip, I carefully read reviews, and selected Drury Inn as the top-rated place that didn't seem to have any pest problems. I was more than happy with my choice. The... More

We picked Drury because of past stays in the St. Louis area. With breakfast and dinner provided, we saved so much since we have children ages 8 and 12. This was our first trip to New Orleans and the location was so convenient. We took the trolley car one day and road throughout the city for only $5 each. The... More

Just made our 3rd pleasure trip to New Orleans and our first since Katrina. We loved it just as much as always. There is no place in America like the French Quarter. Based on reviews on Trip Advisor we decide not to say in the Quarter this time and tried the highly recommended Drury Inn. It is very clean. The... More

Thank you for your feedback! We'd like to tell you about the trolley service in New Orleans for your next visit. It picks up near our hotel and will take guests into the heart of the French Quarter for just a few dollars. It's $1.25 each way or you can buy daily passes for $5 and 3 day passes for... More

Having never stayed at Drury Inns,I used Trip Advisor to steer me in selecting a Hotel after a cruise. The staff could not have been more accomodating to my wife and I letting us check in by noon. The room was huge, clean and very impressive. We attended the social hour and it was everything they advertise. If you were not in New Orleans, you could... This is our 4th Drury stay, all on car trips from Dallas, but first at NOLA. Drury is very reliable, this location being no exception. We ate the Hot Eats & breakfast twice - quite satisfying, which meant no walking around in the morning cold or after dark, with a child in tow, to find a meal. Car didn't leave... More

We had absolutely no complaints with this hotel. Stayed here pre cruise. Previous reviews have been right on. What a comfy bed and soft linens. We felt as if we were staying in a 5 star hotel. Our king room was spacious with a large TV with cable channels. The personnel were so accommodating especially when they found us a... More

This hotel is on Poydras Street, which is about a 7 min walk from the French Quarter. It is a safe area, and the advantage of its location vs staying within the Quarter is that it is quiet at night and closer to the Superdome and basketball arena, Riverwalk area, and the excellent National WWII Museum. It is also very... More
