After reading all of the over-the-moon Trip Advisor reviews, I thought Monrose Row seemed too good to be true. Well, I shouldn't have worried, because this place is truly special. First of all, the photos you see online represent exactly what you'll find when you arrive at the inn. (This in itself should earn MR a five-star rating.) Located in... More

Cindy does an amazing job of running Monrose Row as well as being a great hostess. As mentioned in previous reviews the breakfasts are worth getting up for! My suite had two rooms with a separate bathroom. The decor is very tasteful, a great combination of southern antiques, alongside modern Scandinavian furniture. This really sets the B&B apart from others... More

This was my 2nd trip to New Orleans - my boyfriend's first trip. Last time my aunt & I stayed closer to the CBD. When I was trying to book a room for this trip (the nights of Dec. 31 & Jan. 1), most places in Nola had a 3-night stay minimum, and rates were significantly raised. Monrose Row was... More

Not a single downside to staying here; the BnB and hospitality were fantastic. Every morning something interesting and unique for breakfast, like fennel scones, 24 hour omelet, french toast, fresh fruit. The place is furnished like something out of a southern living lifestyle magazine! Very impressive. The rooms are spacious - we were 4 people and stayed in both of... More

This was my first trip to New Orleans and I wanted to stay somewhere central yet not quite as hectic as the touristy French quarter. The location of Monrose Row is perfect, only a short walk from everything and perfectly safe to wonder around on your own, even at night. Cindy the owner is a gem, she made me feel... More

We stayed at Monrose Row for two nights, but really wish we would've stayed longer. We were in Nola for the first time and really started our trip off right by staying here. Cindy is the owner and she was so warm and friendly right from the start, she really makes you feel welcome and at home. She also has... More

I'm almost reluctant to share this information for fear of never finding a vacancy again at Monrose Row. To start with, the B&B itself is gorgeous and filled with beautiful furniture (both antiques and modern) and stunning artwork. The third floor suite was perfect for two non-cohabiting adults to share as there was the option of setting it up with... More

We spent three days in NOLA at Monrose Row. Third floor suite. Spectacular is the only way to describe it. Cindy is remarkable. Her life has been devoted to her former restaurants and the total restoration of the two buildings that are now Monrose. And what a host! She is so very talented and open. The breakfasts were perfection. Having... More

A couple of nights at Monrose Row enjoying Cindy's incredible B&B hospitality, and you'll wonder why you would ever stay in a downtown hotel ever again. I almost felt sorry for the people walking out of the 5-star establishments in Canal St and Bourbon St - if only they knew what they were missing! From the moment you walk in... More

The total renovation job done by our host Cindy, the best and most informative B&B host we have ever stayed with, is utterly unbelievable. The place is huge and has the feel that you are in the middle of the quarter (only 2 blocks away). The room itself (room #2) had hurricane shutters on all the doors and windows and... More
