A perfect home base for walking/biking to New Orleans food/music/nightlife. Not having to deal with traffic/parking is soooo nice! Margaret was a great host and the guest house was very cozy/cute. Had everything we needed. Quiet neighborhood. Easy and scenic walk to French Quarter or hang a little closer on Frenchman Street. Great restaurant (Horn's) right around the corner.

The Little Eazy is a true statement. Got off the plane, took a taxi and never needed a vehicle the rest of the stay. Margaret met us at the door and couldn't have been a more wonderful helpful host. She had a map of the local area with lots of helpful hints where to eat, drink and see great music.We... More

My husband and I just returned back from a 5 day, 4 night stay in New Orleans. We have visited before, but decided that this time we would rent a home/cottage vs. staying at a hotel. It made all the difference & saved us a lot of money in the process. We were actually surprised how much less we spent... More

Margaret and Richard made us feel completely welcomed and at home. The location and services were far beyond expectation! They went out of their way to offer hospitality above and beyond anything you will find elsewhere! Memories were made that I wouldnt have expected. I cannot rate this place or our hosts highly enough!

Came down to New Orleans for a wedding in the French Quarter and decided to stay in Marigny because of price and availability. Found the Little Eazy on a B&B site and found a wonderful cottage run by great hosts. Marigny and the Little Eazy will be my first choice in New Orleans from now on. Great neighborhood, easy blocks... More

We are back. Not only in New Orleans, but back in the coziest place in town. Little EZ is just the way we remembered it to be, and just the way we like it. If you want to live close with the locals, and still have the privacy and comfort of a private home, do not hesitate to contact Margaret,... More

I did a lot of research before our visit to NOLA and was very lucky to find this place. I looked at hotels and B and B's. All were ok but still were just hotel rooms. Being there were 5 of us traveling together that would have been awful!! This was just like having our own house in NOLA!! There... More

Upon arriving at the cottage Margaret was extremely helpful and hospitable. The cottage was a decent size and was very clean. The best feature was the hot tub in the courtyard, which we used every night after walking around the French Quarter. Another thing we loved was that the cottage was conveniently located between the Marigny and the Quarter, so... More

I have stayed at the Little Eazy on a few occasions over the years. It is an EXCELLENT place to stay! Rick and Margaret are generous hosts, and all your needs will be provided for. Walking distance to Snug Harbor, Dba, Blue Nile, La Peniche, etc. on Frenchmen Street. Do yourself a favor and go to the Little Eazy and... More

We spent a long weekend in Little Eazy exploring New Orleans cuisine and jazz. Little Eazy was a gem of a place to stay. The location can't be beat -- just blocks from the French Quarter and Frenchman Street both. The cottage had everything we needed, and Margaret had plenty of useful advice for our neighborhood. We'll definitely stay here... More

Staying in Faubourg Marigny & Bywater

Neighborhood Profile
Faubourg Marigny & Bywater
Nestled between the French Quarter and the Ninth Ward, the Faubourg Marigny & Bywater environs are largely residential. Of course, folks around here love to go out and have a good time as much as they do anywhere in NOLA. And if out-of-towners want to join in the festivities, well then so much the better! Home to some of the most revered live music venues in New Orleans, an eclectic gaggle of gourmand dining destinations, and a come-as-you-are vibe that’s as infectious as it is alluring, this is real deal New Orleans oozing with southern hospitality and the promise of a most epic night out. For endless opportunities to boogie, to admire row upon row of lovingly restored homes, and to escape the fray of the more touristic parts of town (but still live it up in grand style) head to Faubourg Marigny & Bywater.
