First, the location of the hotel is fantastic (between the Garden District and the French Quarter), you're within walking distance of many great bars & restaurants. If you're into gambling, the Harrah's casino is directly across the street. The hotel is in a transition state right now and that was apparent. I must say, the staff at the hotel, was... More

The W used to be an above par hotel. It is in the midst if a renovation to Le Meridian so bumps are to be expected. I was supposedly in a renovated room, which still had ultra contemporary feel of a W. However, the towels were thin and threads coming off the ends; Only one lamp instead of two to... More

I stayed at this hotel for the first time in August 2014 and was very impressed with the staff and room. The room was recently renovated and the staff was friendly and helpful. I will be staying here again!

Originally booked for the W a couple of months ago. When I arrived I found out it was no longer the W. Lobby is very nice but rooms not so much. had to change into 3 different rooms. Whether the bed is broken or the tub does not drain after a shower. It was not a very pleasant stay at... More

Traveling a lot as i do you start trying to find good deals. Well, Me and my boyfrIend needed to be in NoLA for 2 days for business. So we looked on priceline to see what we could find. We go to express deals that they are supposedly known for on the site. We click on and purchase the one... More

Nice hotel & good service. Active at night. Modern lobby & rooms could use a little update but nice overall. Helpfully staff. Helpful concierge. Would stay there again. Across from casino & near the French Quarters.

My husband I and planned a getaway weekend. I was a bit concerned with staying here because I was told that there was construction going on. We heard a drill only once late in the afternoon...so not a problem at all. The staff was courteous and prompt and our room was gorgeous and very comfortable. Love the location and overall... More

We were granted this room on Priceline express deals and I heavily rely on reviews so when i read the reviews I was afraid to death. I even tried to cancel the room but I couldn't so it was either waste money or give it a try . So we drove to New Orleans with low expectations and they met... More

Extremely disappointing. We were placed in one of the newly renovated rooms. Could hear construction noise well pass 6:00pm. Room not remotely business-friendly. No desk chair. When called down, I was told that new ones were being ordered to match height of elevated desk, but that they would send up standard chair. It never arrived. Desk light did not work,... More

Yes, the hotel makes it clear that it is under construction as they transition from a W to a Le Meridian, however things could be improved for guests occupying rooms during this period. Many hotels can not afford to fully shut down as they change flags, however it would seem logical not to have occupied rooms on floors that have... More
