I made a reservation for one night. Over 24 hours before my arrival I called to cancel because of snow/ice. Originally I asked to just change the reservation. Was told it was too late, there was no way anyone else could book the room because they take reservations off line.. Went online and told the woman (owner?) that there were... More

This is a good place to avoid at all costs. From the filthiest rooms and used drug paraphernalia to thugs roaming the halls as prostitutes randomly knock on doors this place is dangerous. Went out to the parking area to find my window busted out and my vehicle ransacked. The clerk informed me that the security system was down and... More

I cannot even express how shocked I was when I was taken to my room. The doors to the rooms aren't even really doors. They are like a block of the wall that just swings open with a deadbolt on the door. The rooms are booked as small, medium, or large which in itself is crazy and odd. We booked... More

This hotel is not dog friendly, it is dog tolerant. The room is a broke down excuse for a hotel room, but if you're just looking for a quick place to rest then this is the cheap place to do it. They charge you $1 for an extra towel (they only give you one towel and one wash cloth). The... More

This is bad - real bad. It ruined my trip and I am cheap and stay in bad places. Just trust me! You have to leave your freaking key and forget about safety - my bedroom lock is better. Literally had nasty old tv from 1983 VCR combo. Sheets yucky! I need to meet the person who gave a good... More

This was the worst place i have ever stayed in my life. I cried the first night. My mistake for not reading the reviews. I assumed that if Expedia was backing this hotel with their name how bad could it be. Well it was a real dump. I knew I was in trouble when I checked in and they handed... More

Basin and bath blocked. Toilet without cover. Novilon(plastic) style flooring. Cigarette burns everywhere. Stained bedding. Thin mattress, covered with thick plastic. Dodgy air con threatening to fall out of its hole in the wall. For a non-smoking room: There is an ashtray and burn marks on the floors and bedding and toilet and a stench of recent AND old smoke.... I had read all the reviews so I was not surprised by the hotel. It is old and run down. Great location!! Walked to Bourbon St and all over the French Quarter. Never felt unsafe in that neighborhood, but I was not alone. The staff is great and the night guy (retired Army guy from near Chicago) is an absolute... More

I was looking for a hotel in the quarter for $100 or less. This is what I got. The outside and lobby aren't terrible but the room and atmosphere were. First of all they only charge a $10 deposit... let that sink in. They don't value anything in the hotel at more than $10. The room wreaked of cigarettes and... More
