I stayed at the Hampton Inn during the Esence Music Festival 2009 and I have no complaints. Everything was above satisfactory and will stay here again the next time i'm visiting N.O.! The rooms were clean, well stocked, not overly spacious but definitely adequate sized, and the free breakfast was great. The hotel offered access to the business center and... more

Stayed at this hotel during the SHRM 09 Conference. Hotel is excellent - 1/4 block from the Convention Center. Rooms are large, clean, lobby is large, comfortable, breakfast was wonderful at 6 am and at 10 am - hostesses were polite and constantly cleaning and restocking. Christopher at the front desk was full of information about New Orleans and tips... more

This is an unusual Hampton Inn both in terms of size (it's quite large) and the fact that it is in an old warehouse. I did not stay on the warehouse side, but in the Riverside building facing the convention center. I heard from colleagues that the rooms in the warehouse building were larger (my "King Study" was smallish). Breakfast... more

I was part of a large group that stayed at this Hampton Inn for about a week in March. We were moved to this hotel from another location at the last minute...long story there...and the staff could not have been more accommodating. Katie and Charlene were particularly helpful, but each employee we had contact with was great. This particular Hampton... more

We stayed at the Hampton Inn Convention Center for the 2009 Sugar Bowl as part of the halftime entertainers which was made up of 160 high school dancers and chaperones. Most hotels are less than thrilled when you arrive with an army of teenagers, but the staff at the Hampton was absolutely wonderful. They could not have been more accommodating.... more

I am shocked that this hotel only has a 2 star rating. I travel quite a bit and this does not seem on par with 2 stars. I really enjoyed this hotel. It should have a higher rating. The rooms are clean and very well attended. The lobby has wonderful little touches such as fresh flowers and at 5pm warm... more

This is a lovely Hampton Inn. Very gracious service. Very convenient location to the convention center. About a 20 minute walk from the heart of the French Quarter. Don't miss Tommy's Cuisine just a few blocks away. Fantastic food, great atmosphere, and superb service. Loved it! more

A large group of us stayed here for a International Jazzercise convention. The breakfasts were above average for a hotel chain and the coffee was great! The pool was small but nice with water and ice available. The cleanliness of our room was not up to our standards the first night and it was addressed immediately and was clean for... more

Stayed here three nights in April, 2008. It was mostly a pleasant experience. Since it's a refurbished cotton factory it has a unique ambiance, different from most Hampton Inns. We paid $145/night, plus various taxes and overpriced parking (see below). We had a large corner room with two double beds (wish they had been queen's) and a pull out sofa.... more

This is a nice hotel with comfy beds and a free continental breakfast that was very nice (hot foods, bagels, fruit, cereal, french toast...etc). The rooms were clean and it was quiet. Our room had a fridge and microwave. The hotel has a a little market with ice cream, lean cuisines, pop, etc... overpriced food, but it was convenient when... more
