Had our reservation for months, but after reading reviews, got the gut feeling I should cancel & go with the Monteleone where we had stayed before, but pictures of this looked so charming - well it is, if you like construction zones & brick walls. When we made the reservation, we requested a courtyard view, when we checked in on... More

I was pleasantly surprised by this charming old hotel right in the heart of Bourbon Street. The hotel is old but very well maintained. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Lovely pool/courtyard area provided a nice oasis. Admittedly, the bar is quite small, and the only dining option is breakfast. But all in all I recommend this wholeheartedly.

I've stayed at this hotel twice over the past 6 months while I was in New Orleans on business. The hotel is older, and you will almost certainly have some paint peeling on the windows, but the location is very close to the French Quarter experience - maybe a block away - so if you're interested in some Bourbon Street... Just got back from Jazz fest in New Orleans. This hotel is well situated in the French Quarter. The room was quite clean, on the small side. The room we requested had a balcony sitting area over the side street. If you thought this would be scenic, as I thought it would be, think again. Our view was of construction... More

the hotel is a nice one in the front and lobby, but the room is another story. its very outdated and not even a microwave or fridge ( something i was surprise about) beyond that everything else was perfectly fine. the two ladies at the desk were very nice and knowable. even the bellman was delightful. the parking could be... Since for us this was a huge Priceline bargain with no choice of room, we were not expecting too much. Turned out we found our way to Rm 552, tucked away on the top floor. Indeed, the room was small, but it was immaculate, with a great king bed and a view of one of the pretty courtyards. We enjoyed... More

my wife and I had booked a 1 month tour to celebrate our retirement beginning at Nashville for 3 nights, 3 nights at the holiday inn le moyne in new orleans, 6 nights in Vegas and 2 weeks with friends in san francisco. We have had a great time and stayed in the most excellent hotels, the exception being this... More

The Chateau Le Moyne is a great hotel in a wonderful location in the French Quarter. You are one block to Bourbon St. with out all the noise. On every trip I make to New Orleans I stay at the Chateau. We go 2 times a year for many years. I am from New Orleans; when I go home to... More

I reserved my room a week in advance. I had fast, friendly service upon arrival. Hotel is in a great location. The first night, I was awakened at 3:30 AM because my Air Conditioner was making a loud noise and was vibrating the room. I tried to ignore it and simply made a comment to the front desk the next... Approximately 25-30 years ago, this used to be a great mid-priced boutique hotel, on par if not better than practically every other small boutique hotel in the French Quarter. It used to be one of my favorites. In short, it was a very special and unique Holiday Inn that exuded charm, warmth and surprisingly refined upkeep. (At least for a... More
