I traveled to New Orleans with 3 friends, all of us ranging from 23-25. I was slightly worried about staying in the French Quarter, but all my concerns were soon laid to rest. We paid nearly $70 to valet park our SUV for two nights with in/out priveleges. The lobby was very nice, and the staff extremely helpful. We bothered... more

Me and my wife booked this hotel through hotwire, thinking it was going to be a regular holiday inn. WE got there and we were astonished by the beauty of the hotel. It is a century old building that is just one bock away from bourbon street. Bourbon street extremely fun and everything is just a walk away. Main square... more

I just got back from a long weekend in NOLA. This was my first time at this hotel. It is centrally located, just one block from Bourbon, but without the noise of the nightlife! The front desk staff was wonderful, helpful, and always friendly! The bartenders make great drinks, especially the hurricanes. The pool was clean and everyone we met... more

Very nice hotel. Friendly front desk staff. No free breakfast included, but paying for breakfast yielded a great morning meal. Excellent location, only one block from Bourbon Street. Parking is expensive. The hotel bar is good. The room was very nice, roomy, nice balcony to sit outside. Nice looking lobby and exterior. Hotel is quiet. We felt we got good... more

I stayed here during the Jazz Festival. The elevator in the lobby was slow and when it came it was small. The room was old and the mattress way too soft. I sat down and rolled over. I asked for another room with a different mattress and was informed that all the rooms had the same type of mattresses. The... more

The hotel is situated about a block off Bourbon Street and a few off of Canal in a cool classic building. Bars, restaurants, and drugstores are all near by. Getting back and forth to the exhibition center was a breeze. I was surprised at how quiet it was in the room. I assume this was due to it facing the... more

Had our reservation for months, but after reading reviews, got the gut feeling I should cancel & go with the Monteleone where we had stayed before, but pictures of this looked so charming - well it is, if you like construction zones & brick walls. When we made the reservation, we requested a courtyard view, when we checked in on... more

I was pleasantly surprised by this charming old hotel right in the heart of Bourbon Street. The hotel is old but very well maintained. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Lovely pool/courtyard area provided a nice oasis. Admittedly, the bar is quite small, and the only dining option is breakfast. But all in all I recommend this wholeheartedly. more

I've stayed at this hotel twice over the past 6 months while I was in New Orleans on business. The hotel is older, and you will almost certainly have some paint peeling on the windows, but the location is very close to the French Quarter experience - maybe a block away - so if you're interested in some Bourbon Street... more

Just got back from Jazz fest in New Orleans. This hotel is well situated in the French Quarter. The room was quite clean, on the small side. The room we requested had a balcony sitting area over the side street. If you thought this would be scenic, as I thought it would be, think again. Our view was of construction... more
