My girlfriend and I just got back from out week stay in New Orleans and had such a great time! Rathbone Mansions was one of the many reasons our stay was so amazing. At Rathbone the owners and workers are so friendly and make you feel like your right at home. The hot breakfasts in the morning were AMAZING. It... More

Miss Pat and her staff were very friendly and helpful. They had many good recommendations for us from food to sightseeing. We parked our car when we arrived and didn't move it till me left. We either walked or took a trolley to what ever we wanted. The room was fine and clean. The only complaint is the bed was... More

We loved this B&B and are happy we stayed there for 4 nights. The staff was super-friendly & the room was just fine. The room was nothing incredibly special but it was cute, comfortable and clean & the bed was comfortable. Lots of channels on the tv & the wifi worked except for maybe one ten minute period. There is... More

Do not listen to the other reviews picking on this lovely old building for small flaws. If you want to stay in a place full of history, close to the French Quarter, and beautiful rooms this is the place for you. We booked this place as a last minute thing because we didn't plan on being in NO at this... More

I am puzzled by reviews complaining of issues that come along with age. I am more concerned with people complaining about location and crime. If you are scared of Esplanade, The Big Easy just isn't the place for you. I stay on Esplanade 2 or 3 times a year and it seems to get better and safer each year. As... More

Yes, the mansions are old, but that is what makes them so special! The rooms are beautifully appointed and comfortable. We stay here every time we come to New Orleans. Their safe location is also a great bonus. The walk to the French Quarter is not bad at all, I'd much rather walk than try to find parking in the... More

When I made the reservation (4months before the trip) I understood it would be a room in a B&B so I knew there would probably be stairs. When we got there , after dark, we had been left a note telling us we had been upgraded to a Balcony room. Now that is nice in some places but OMG these... More

Second visit to Rathbone Mansions (first was 3 years ago) and it seems a little run down. We stayed in the house across the street and were 'upgraded' to the Saints/NFL room. It was large, comfortable, but a little dilapidated. We had a balcony but daren't use it for fear of falling through the floor! However, it's in a good... More

We decided to stay different than our normal New Orleans hotels so we decided on Rathbone and it was a nice experience. The best part was breakfast each morning...Tonya (I believe it was) who served us, she was the most delightful, happy person I've ever come across traveling. It was a joy seeing her every morning & enjoying her wonderful... More
