We stayed at the ritz with a group of friends for my birthday weekend. As per my request, our rooms were adjacent to one another. The hotel nicely surprised us with complimentary champagne, dessert saying "Happy Birthday", and even balloons. A really nice touch that was greatly appreciated. The rooms are a bit small but very comfortable. We slept really... More

This Ritz provided the expected top quality service from its staff. Always helpful and cheerful. The hotel bar is nice and the outdoor/courtyard dining is also very nice. However, our room and specifically the furnishings were old and not up to the standard you expect when you stay at a Ritz. Also, I personally do not like it when you... More

If you'd stayed at the Ritz before you know it is always a pleasurable experience. If you haven't you need to take an opportunity to treat yourself (oh and your family). Their customer service is second to none. From doorman, to check in, to concierge, room service, and others are very friendly. They make a point to remember your name... More

Although you do get the sense that there might be better Ritz Carlton's out there, this one served its purpose very well. Being our first trip to New Orleans, my wife and I wanted a quiet retreat away from the seediness, and the Ritz fit the bill. Being situated on the border between the French Quarter and the Central Business... More

I was expecting the over-the-top service that I have experienced all over at the Ritz-Carlton. I was disappointed. Just average at every turn. Front desk, bar , restaurant and spa were just average in terms of service. About what you expect from a Hampton Inn. I was prompted to submit a review after my horrible experience with the lost and... More

Ritz-Carlton's are constantly great hotels so my expectations are high. This hotel seemed to have all the structure of a typical RC property but staff seemed a but overwhelmed. Our TV had an issue we had to call maintenance twice to fix. The bar ran out of champagne glasses 20 minutes prior to the New Years countdown. The hotel is... More

I'm not the type who normally stays in an expensive hotel. But that's where the conference was, so that's where I went. It was very nice--a great hotel. The furnishings were first class, which is what you would expect. The staff was nothing short of amazing. The doorman was so funny every time I went through the doors. It was... More

The stay here was excellent from start to finish. Service was professional. The room was comfortable. I enjoyed the firm bed and spacious bathroom. The common areas are nicely appointed and I loved the fresh flowers. The location is right in the heart of the French Quarter and a mere block away from the notorious Bourbon Street. Great stay at... New Orleans is nasty, it just is. But if you have to be there for work-well, then stay here! Very nice accommodations, lovely helpful staff and great breakfast. Really liked the hotel. Some of my business partners had some issues with the housekeeping staff (1 came back late at night and housekeeper was in the room looking very nervous and... More

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel twice in the last three years. Both times at Club Level. The hotel, which recently underwent some renovations, is gorgeous. The rooms are furnished in dark wood, with rare antiques, and a canopy bed. The bed was clearly new and extremely comfortable. The hardwood floors looked at if they had just... More
