What a place!! Big quite room, great bed, giant flat screen TV, big bathroom and all very nicely appointed. You will not be disappointed if you stay here. Bourbon Street is right there too - so a very convenient location. more

This was my first time at the New Orleans Ritz. The service was impeccable. The room (standard king) was super clean and spacious. My room was on the Bourbon street side of the building (11th floor) and although you could hear some noise from outside, it was minimal. The bed was super comfortable and the bathrooms are large (with Bulgari... more

I recently stayed at the Ritz Carlton March 26-27th. On the evening of the 27th half of the French Quarter lost electricity due to a transformer fire (not the Ritz's fault or under their control). The Ritz was incredibly accomodating to this problem. The provided free sodas and water throughout the hotel; had backup generators running the elevators and hallway... more

The hotel is beautiful with large, elegant rooms and gorgeous bathrooms in white marble with yummy Bvlgari products. The gym was spacious with state of the art equipment. The hotel location is right in the middle of the city on Canal and the courtyard is very cute and cozy! Would definitely stay again. more

I'm usually a big Ritz Carlton fan -- the one in Grande Lakes, FL is fabulous, but this one in the Big Easy is a Big Nightmare. First, it's on the border of a nasty part of town -- it should be closer to the Harrah's casino like the W Hotel is. So, if you want to get to the... more

I stayed at the Ritz for a week mid May 2009. I was in town for a nursing conference at the Convention center. It was a beautiful hotel and everyone was so helpful and friendly. From the door men to the reception desk and concierege, they were all great. I booked through Expedia and got a great rate, or else... more

We understand New Orleans hotels are held to a lower standard than hotels in other cities, but if you are going to expose your brand by building a hotel, you should at least strive to meet minimum service standards. Unfortunately, the Ritz Carlton New Orleans did not do that. On our first day, we phoned the front desk to request... more

My teenage daughter and I stayed there for 2 nights. The rooms were gorgeous, looked like they had recently been redone. Great service. The lobby was also beautiful but had a very strong, unpleasant scent (room freshener I guess) more

Over memorial day weekend, myself and my wife stayed at the Ritz Carlton Maison Orleans in New Orleans. Since I had stayed there in the past and thoroughly enjoyed it, I was very excited to stay there once again. However, from the day we checked in to the day we checked out, we were plagued with a number of incidents... more

I had a late checkout of 1pm and between 8am and 1pm, I had 8 people knocking on my door, either housekeeping or inquiring when I am checking out. very disturbing. I might as well have gone to the airport lounge more
