I will be brief, Charming, great location on the street car line, helpful staff and plenty of eateries at hand. The 2 rooms we experienced ( was not happy in the first room) were so musty that the smell lingered in my clothing after we vacated. We opened our window as opposed to the air con being on but there... More

It is what it is. The town seemed to be booked up solid due to a convention or game, and Historic Streetcar Inn was the only reasonably priced place that even had a room available. It is close to downtown and, obviously, on the St Charles streetcar line. Desk clerk was brusque, room was musty, a little worn and didn't... More

I have traveled around the world and this is the worst hotel ever,,, After driving 9 hours we arrived at this "Historic" hotel ... It is just an old, rundown, un-kept place in a historic area of New Orleans... We arrived at 6 PM only to find out the is no parking, (even the on street reserved for unloading was... More

I will start with the positive, it's in a good location, only steps away from the streetcar which will take you to downtown only 2 blocks from Bourbon Street. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast was your normal continental breakfast and the staff was friendly. Now for the negative, there is no parking, you must park on the street- if... More

I stayed at the Historic Streetcar Inn for 2 nights. The Inn itself is located on a stop on the Green streetcar on St. Charles There are many New Orleans dining options all within a few blocks...several restaurants neighbor the inn and more across the street. Getting into the French Quarter is no problem on the green streetcar as is... More

This is a really cute place in a fantastic location - it's technically in Uptown but there's incredibly easy access to the Quarter, Lower Garden, Garden, etc. As far as staying there goes - you don't spend much time in your room in a city like this, but the bed is comfortable, it's clean, and it's quiet.

Hotel's great amenity is its location: situated in the picturesque Garden District, in between nice restaurants and bars, at just 20 minutes walking from the famous French Quarter with its infamous Bourbon Street and, on top of it, the Street Car runs just in front of the hotel. Disappointing was the cleanliness of my room: dirty towel on the rack,... More

My stay here was excellent. It was close to many restaurants. Pleasant staff. I would stay here again. My only concern was that there is no parking. Being that I drive everywhere for work, it is a true issue with me.
