Period preserved ambiance…Gracious hosts…Restful sleep… Blissful surroundings…and maybe a ghost, or two! I should also mention that the breakfasts are wonderful, as well! My only suggestion is that the Innkeepers consider publishing a Breakfast Recipe Cookbook. For me, it’s the only place to stay while visiting New Orleans. more

HH Whitney is a gorgeous mansion in a very convenient section of New Orleans - close to the French Quarter, but not right in the middle of craziness of the activity. Your stay at this home will not be an ordinary one. The home is incredible, breakfast is always beautifully done, and the hosts go way above and beyond in... more

I have been New Orleans several times but HH Whitney made this my best stay. If you want to experience the real new Orleans, this 1865 house B&B is the place. The decoration is exquisite and they have a pool out back, with frescos and statues, that makes you think you are in The South of France. They treat you like... more

When you pull up to the HH Whitney, you immediately can recognize its charm. My wife and I were greeted by Glen who gave us a tour of the house, explained where we could find complimentary beer, soft drinks, water, fruit, etc, and then spent a solid 30 minutes familiarizing us with New Orleans by helping us fine tune our... more

The house was charming, the breakfasts were creative and delicious, the house keeping was impeccable, the people were incredible and the privacy was just perfect. Glen went out of his way to make us feel at home, he helped us when we were stranded and he made for great conversation. His knowledge of New Orleans was impressive. I have been... more

As a repeat guest of the HH Whitney House, I reassured my love for the home, hosts, and environment. The hosts Glen Miller and Randall Saizan go above and beyond to make sure all the guest's needs are met. They offer information on fun and exciting things to do in the city, and can comfort to your likings. The home... more

I have spent two fabulous weekends at the HH Whitney House. Glen is a most gracious host. I truly felt as if I were a guest in his own home. The house is full of history and romance which sets a wonderful tone for a weekend in the City. I have been to NOLA thousands of times in my life... more
